I came to try because of the favorable comments I read; I ordered the mixed fried mate plate, and I shared a bowl of clam chowder with my wife (she had the fried shrimp). The soup was the best; the portions are generous (although is reflected on the pricey) but overall I was not impressed with the food. I may... More

Ordering ones food before you are seated is insane. You also have to pay and tip before any service. The food is exceptional , however this "fast food" setup seems to move as many people in and out to make more money and not offer a quality dining experience.

If you love shrimp, then this is the place. The batter they use is light and not greasy and the best. I most always order shrimp when out and have yet to find a place that is as good as Boston. Their onion rings are a must to try. Actually I could almost make a meal on their onion rings.... More

1) This restaurant is closed on Mondays and also DAILY between 3:25 & 4:00 pm to strain the frying oil, so avoid those hours. 2) You must order at the entrance, PRIOR to being seated. So it's best to read their menu online and make your meal selection before arriving. Alternatively, there are menus at the front door which you... More

The Boston's Fish House is always great, authentic New England seafood. This visit we tried the Mussel's Appatiser, outstanding, and the Stuffed Flounder which was marvelous. That with the usual whole belly fried clams. This is a great place, we only wish it was closer to where we live.

Stopped for lunch and the cost for the two of us was nearly $40. I am sure part of the high price is due to the fresh fish being flown in. It was tasty but nothing was seasoned (add your own salt, etc.) So it tasted fresh but a little bland at first. I would come back again when I... More

Seafood is yummy. I love the broiled shrimp with cracker crumbs. Salads are fresh. Not your average restaurant. You order at the register then seated. Good choice for family night out.

The closest thing to New England Seafood for a thousand miles. The Boston's folks have the chowder, fried seafood and other menu items as close to seaside Massachusetts as one can find in the southern US. Food is flown into Orlando daily. Whole-belly fried clams from Essex County, Massachusetts, the most famous in the nation. The portions are large, but... More

My husband and I and various family members eat at Boston's quite regularly, as often as weekly. We have never had a bad meal or had to return any part of a meal. My personal favorite is a lobster roll with fries and broccoli salad. My husband's favorite is baked haddock with mashed potatoes and squash medley. Other favorites include... More
