Winter Park's Park Ave has always been known for its high quality options; from food to clothing to general goods. The Briar Patch is no exception. Brunch was served even on Monday morning. In addition to regular eggs, they offered fried green tomatoes made with beautiful heirloom tomatoes. Eggs Benedict with lump crab looked great. My first pick was a... More

I've been to Briar Patch several times, each visit I order something different and I have yet to be disappointed! The meal I must recommend is the pancakes! They are incredible, even without the fancy toppings and variations the restaurant offers. You will leave with a huge smile on your face! The restaurant is quite popular so there is a... More

I had the skirt steak eggs Benedict and it was amazing. I also had a slice of their peanut butter mouse pie, and it was worth every calorie. We had an excellent server named Alicia, and she was very friendly and helpful. Thanks!

Stopped back in after loving it so much back in August. Sorry I did. Service was not the same and food was definitely poorly prepared. Asked for the bacon to be crisp on the sandwich and it was limp. Asked for dressing on side of salad but it come out on it and the soup never appeared. Such a shame... More

We were there Monday, March 6. There is terrific sidewalk seating. Both my wife and I had the best grilled cheese sandwich that we ever tasted. Actually after seeing the sandwich size we elected to order just one. It very amply fed both of us. They also had wonderful fries. If you are in the delightful town of Winter Park... More

We stopped at The Briar Patch following a visit to the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art. It had been recommended by one of my son's classmates and we were not disappointed. It was a warm day and we chose to eat inside. We had Hawaiian pancakes and a roast beef sandwich from the special menu and the house... More

We stopped for lunch on a weekday and The Briar Patch was very busy. Service was quick and friendly; the server let me substitute one item in an omelet at no extra charge. We each had an omelet: one was spinach and goat cheese, the other ham, brie, and apple. Serving size is more than ample, so bring a big... More

Helen and I enjoy sitting out on the pavement tables watching the world go by whilst eating a massive breakfast that always hits the spot. Never tried the cakes but they look awesome!

This was our third visit to this restaurant. The food is delicious and the servings are huge. Our only problem with the restaurant is how you are seated. We were a party of 2 and they were taking parties of 5, 4 and 3 first, seating them ahead of us, taking people behind us in the line. This is hardly... More

This little restaurant is right on Park Ave. and a short walk from the Morse Museum. There is seating outdoors and it is very busy. Our lunch was quite good and service was attentive. We did not try them but the pancakes looked amazing as did the desserts!By sharing your experiences, you're helping travelers make better choices and plan their... More
