Wife and I took our friends from Illinois to Tibbys for dinner. Tibbys is my favorite New Orleans style food. Ordered shrimp etoufee and gumbo. Both fantastic. Shares fried eggplant for appetizer which was great and enough to share with four of us. Ended meal with basket of eight Cajun donuts covered in powdered sugar. Our waitress Mattie was fantastic.... Found this by chance and had the Shrimp and Andouille Grits. Great flavors, casual space, friendly staff and good drinks. So much more interesting than the usual chains. Great value and looked like the Po' Boys are popular

I love this restaurant! I want a Tibby's to open in Atlanta! Last year we discovered it while visiting Orlando. This year we brought friends. The atmosphere is casual and fun (a little loud)...mardi gras! The food is fantastic - fresh - cooked and seasoned well, the portions are generous (I didn't have enough room for dessert) and the drinks... More

This is a fun and quirky place to go. The atmosphere is definitely artsy fun, but it is the volume that makes me rate it only a 4 out of 5. It is way too LOUD. I have eaten there several times, and the food is always good, the service good, but what ruins it for me is the volume.... More

We were staying in Kissimmee and drove the 40 mins to get to the restaurant as we love good Cajun food and we were certainly not disappointed! They have all the greats: Jambalaya, PoBoy's, Gumbo (a few different types), red beans and rice, the list goes on and on! Started with the friend green tomatoes with Fried crawfish, excellent combo!... More

I celebrated my birthday here twice with a group of friends. We loved the Mardi Gras decor and happy atmosphere. I had the alligator cake, which is really a mousse- like appetizer, plus a main dish. Food is rich and heavy, and Hurricane drinks are sweet, so leave your diet home but don't order too much. Waiters really know the... More

My office of roughly 25 people has held our "End of the Year/ Holiday Party" at this establishment for the past two years because they are able to provide us with a private room in the back that seats a large number of people comfortably at two round tables. Great food, decent mixed drinks, and excellent deserts! Also, I'm in... More

They do a great job on the seafood gumbo and the shrimp etouffee, love the atmosphere and the Cajun vibe. The beignets and bread are "meh" compared to what you can get in New Orleans, but the staff is always friendly and attentive.

The food is delicious and very authentic . There is lots of variety which includes red beans & rice, poboys, jumbalaya, beignets , ect. The atmosphere is loud and festive . There is a nice private room for family events . The hurricanes are great with lots of specials .

I have been there a ton of times. Never disappointed. Michelle our bartender is always excellent. We had the famous Rita's chicken and Shrimp and Grits. Hurricanes and every drink always a hit!

Description
Tibby's is not just about what you see, but how it makes you feel. It's about expressing personality and character through food, music, art and heritage. It has the vibe of New Orleans funk in a very fun atmosphere. It is vibrant in expressions and true to its colors. It reflects a social gathering that feeds the soul. It is not the New Orleans you may have visited; it is the New Orleans that locals call home.
