The fried shrimp were below average and their sweet potato casserole was burned. I agree with others that the service lacks. I also asked for a refill of my soft drink and apparently she for got. I ended up having to ask another server for...a refill.More

OK on first appearance the Roast beef po boy looked shredded. A first taste appearance my thought was who cares what it looks like it is delicious. The only thing better was the red beans and rice side that may have been the best of...my life. The service was fantastic.More

Our family always enjoys the culinary delights of some authentic Cajun food. We were driving along the back roads (Stoneybrook West Parkway) and spotted this unassuming restaurant hidden at one end of the shopping center. A few weeks later, we decided to give this place...a try and were pleasantly surprised. Their claim to fame is that they are a family-style version of New Orleans home cooking, and that pretty much sums it up in a nutshell. They have an excellent variety of offerings in a wide range of prices to fit anyone’s wallet. Our server was very knowledgeable, with plenty of dish recommendations. The drinks, appetizer, and main course arrived quickly, and the overall service was excellent. We all tried a variety of dishes, with the fried green tomatoes as a highly recommended starting appetizer. I tackled the Grandma's Jambalaya, which ended up being two full meals with the take-home box. It was delicious with the exact amount of spice and flavor served with their sweet cornbread. We took advantage of the outside dining in their open courtyard in the early evening, which was a pleasant experience considering all the fears surrounding the continued virus outbreak. With all the options, we look forward to visiting again real soon to walk our way down the menu of other culinary offerings.More

The big easy is very good food and all day happy hour specials on Sunday make it even more attractive. we like to go watch the Saints game and the free Jello shots each time they score. we are looking forward to crawfish season since...they have the live crawfish boil when they are in season. The owners and staff really do a nice job taking care of customers.More

The crab cakes were delicious! Plus, the boudin balls & crab 🦀 dip was outstanding. Our entire family enjoyed playing bingo. Unfortunately, we didn’t win anything but was great fun!

We dined at The Big Easy for the first time tonight and we will definitely be back SOON. The food is delicious and easily on par with anything we’ve enjoy at restaurants in New Orleans. The atmosphere is fun and the service was great. See...you again soon, The Big East!!More

Good was great! However, it took 45 minutes to get the meal on Saturday afternoon. Service was good and attentive.

We drove an hour and a half to Winter Garden from Lakeland, FL. Our initial reason for going was the entertainment scheduled for the evening of 12/27. Dr Paul (Paul J. Constantine Jr) was going to be performing from 6-9. Well we decided to have...dinner while we enjoyed the music. WOW the food was over the top. I couldn't believe we weren't in New Orleans. We ordered a dozen Oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer. The seasoning was just right and we truly enjoyed the perfectly cooked oysters. They were so tender . Mmmmm We decided to share an Oyster Poor Boy and a bowl of Red Beans and Rice. The Poor Boy was over flowing with tender cooked to perfection oysters. The Red Beans and Rice was very good. We then decided to have some Beignets for desert. They were huge and fluffy and dipped in chocolate sauce made them even more special. We will be back again on 1/25 to eat and listen to Dr Paul again. I can't wait to try other Cajun dishes.More

Took a chance, since I'm not usually in the area, but the online menu looked appetizing. And boy, did it pay off. Started with a special appetizer of fried shrimp bites covered in remoulade. it was so good, we bought a second helping. And the...portions weren't small! Then we went for the Low Country Shrimp N Grits. I've found that in Central Florida, every place has its own spin on Shrimp N Grits. This was one of the best. Big enough to share, served with a side of sweet cornbread .... mmmmmm. So good I asked how the cornbread was made, but it's a 'secret recipe"! Also tried one of their 'bucket' mixed drinks; definitely big enough to share with one or two friends. The server was always smiling, the food came quickly. Wish I had saved room to try a Bavarian Cream Beignet. But since we were stuffed, it'll wait til next time! Definitely worth the visit if you're shopping in the Winter Garden Village, don't want a run-of-the-mill experience, and are willing to drive about 3 miles straight down the road. $50 well spent. Parking is easy.More

Oysters were fresh and big, disappointed crawfish "out of season" didn't know there was a season, not where I come from. Etouffee was great large portion, wife loved her red beans and rice. Ask for Asia as your server, she is really great at her...job plus alot of fun . I definitely recommended her for a raise and big tips.More
