This is review is based on my experience with the Ivy House location in Alachua, Florida. (Sadly, now closed) This restaurant was in a restored Victorian house in Alachua, Florida. The food was freshly prepared so it required a slightly longer wait...but it was worth it. The salads were always fresh and the Southern fried chicken was quite good. Portions... More

The Ivy House is a wonderful place to go for lunch or dinner. Located in the town of Williston in a very charming old Victorian home. The food is very good. We both had the seafood platter, which was shrimp and cod, cooked perfectly with a very nice light batter, homemade mac and cheese, salad and the best cornbread for miles... More

Went to this lovely little place on the recommendation of a family member, it didn't disappoint it's not a fine dining place but For what it lacks in original cuisine it makes up in flavour and supply of those comfort foods that southern cooking is all about. I was very happy with the service and the food everything seasoned and... More

Delicious home made southern gourmet. Super friendly staff. Great for events and catering! Recommend the crispy chicken, a loaded baked potato with their homemade cheese sauce and of course the buttermilk walnut pie! Family owned and operated!

Me and my boss stopped for lunch while in the area on business. Cute restaurant in an old home. Food was awesome. Highly recommend the Krispy Chicken dinner. Comes with a salad, Mac and cheese, daily vegetable, cornbread and a roll. Daily vegetable when we were there was field peas with okra and it was the best I've ever had.... More

I stopped here on my way to the Devils Den after visiting Silver Springs in Ocala on a hot sunny day so you can imagine how hungry I was. May I say this place made me full, had food left over, and didnt leave my wallet with a hole. The Fried Green Tomatos where delicious, and lets not even get... More

Neat restaurant in an old, quaint converted house with interesting landscaping, furnishings, wall treatments and antiques throughout. We had the baked salmon with honey glaze with dinner salad. Portion size was large and all the food was excellent. The service was friendly and prompt. The prices are very reasonable. Our two dinners cost only $40 before tip.

Exceeded my expectations. Quickly seated and quickly served. The portion was much longer than I expected. I was very pleased with that. And the food was delicious! A nice, quaint restaurant that provided better food and better service than most others. Loved it and would definitely go back.

This is a lovely place to have lunch. Big old house with dining in various rooms decorated in shabby chic and antiques. Very quaint. Food was very good and sweet tea was excellent. If you are in the area make a point to eat here. Staff was friendly and attentive. I think there was a gift shop upstairs but I... More
