Strawberry Hills was my favourite treat place for breakfast. My friends and I came her regularly and we would have best coffee & the best pancakes in Jamaica, and it used to come with a basket of delicious fresh banana muffins and toast, 1 coffee was included and so was a glass of OJ. On my most recent visit all... More

Simply gorgeous views across a large part of Jamaica, looking over Kingston and the harbor. The menu is fairly simple but good. Dessert is out of this world; have the Blue Mountain coffee (I don't know if I would go far enough to agree with the local claim that it is the best in the world, but it was good).... More

This place is nestled into the mountain side. The place where you eat has views of the mountain and ocean. Very beautiful and food is Jamaican. We had Shrimp ceviche, Oxtail, and Jerk Chicken with four glasses of wine. We stayed for hours and enjoyed the experience. Total cost was $125 US for both of us. You can buy the... More

Firstly this restaurant has the most amazing view of any I can think of. However, the food is below average for Jamaica. Jerk chicken is served with a dull tasteless sauce, most dishes come with the same unimaginative sides (small rice and peas and a few veg). A sandwich was the nicest thing I ordered which really shouldn't be the... More

My fiance and I spent two nights in the stunning Bamboo Villa (two storey villa, sleeps 4) just before NYE. The resort is a short 50 mins (vertical!) drive uphill from Kingston airport and is lusciously spread across greenland on the top of Blue Mountain - the view is worth every penny! Check-in is fairly late at 3pm and unfortunately... More

We were a party of 12, there for Sunday Brunch, the food was okay, a bit basic given the price but most items I tried were good. After dining and while we were on our way out, we stopped by the pool area to take pictures at the pool and of the amazing view in the background. Shortly after, a... More

Rooms are tasteful and worth the money. The view is spectacular from every angle and the grounds are well maintained. Food is mediocre and overpriced.

A sunny afternoon in Kingston we went up the winding road and ended up in this place. Yes, they charge for the entrance, unless you have a reservation (my Jamaican friend phoned from the entrance and reserved a table for tea). Much worth it.

Both the food and the location of the strawberry hill is so good. The views it a step out of this horrid world. From soup to chicken entre suated it has been a memorable experience. Service was number one.

A lovely retreat in the mountains behind Kingston. Perfect for a romantic weekend or a low-key get-away with close friends. Dinner is served on the verandah overlooking the lights of Kingston. Glorious view. Good, not excellent, food. Overall, its quietly sophisticated yet totally unpretentious. Not for rowdy friends or offspring.

Description
Taste all the richness of our island’s multi-cultural heritage in Strawberry Hill Restaurant’s succulent New Jamaican cuisine. Traditional dishes, such as lamb curry and fish stew, get a subtle contemporary and local twist; a classic omelette aux fines herbes tastes newly delectable with just-picked thyme and a fragrant side of callaloo, Jamaica’s sturdy spinach. Sip a sublime tropical fruit cocktail on our welcoming wraparound veranda, a taste as uplifting as the stunning mountain views. Or let the gracious “Old Plantation” ambiance of our Dining Room enhance your repast as you dally over a slice of warm bread pudding with a dash of Blackwell’s Rum, accompanied by a cup of Blue Mountain coffee, grown not a mile away.
