Yummmmy! Malakor is one of my favorite Thai restaurants. And one of my favorite restaurants in Northwood. It is a great place for all kinds of yummy Thai food but seriously my favorite is their Pad Thai. I've had pad thai all over town and this is definitely MY favorite. It has just the right amount of peanut flavor, fresh... More

This is a really wonderful Thai restaurant that includes a Sushi menu too. On the negative side: Somewhat sketchy neighborhood, but I've been in way worse, and parking for maybe six or eight cars, but street parking is available. However, the food and service is really superior. I will pass on a word of advise; their spicy scale is 1... More

place stays busy because the atmosphere and menu selections are good, but the food seems to lack the flavor I expect in thai food

My favorite local stop for lunch or dinner. Ordered Crispy Bok Choy appetizer which my guests devoured. Followed up with Green Curry Tofu and brown rice, #4 spicy- excellent as usual. We all split Sticky Rice and Mango thai dessert. Delicious. All dishes we attractively presented. Service was gracious and attentive. Fabulous as always.

Order the Shrimp Red Curry, it is amazing! Malakor, in Old Northwood, is always a nice treat. Usually I'll order a Thai Iced Tea too - sweet and delicious.

We thought menu prices a tab high but stayed. My Ginger/Tofu dish with AMAZING GREAT Brown rice was 5* Hubby's Basil/Tofu dish with white rice was excellent. Portions were very large but we both finished our meals. Yes, go!

I love visiting this quaint Thai restaurant in the heart of historic Northwood Village. Food and service are both excellent!

My wife and I wanted something different than what we usually pick up on a Sunday. We gave the Malakor Thai Café a try. We started with the Japanese gyoza (Pot sticker), which were delicious! My dish, the Thai fried rice with chicken did not disappoint. A little more interesting was my wife's dinner, the yaki soba with chicken. The... More

Service if very attentive---. eaten here many times .never a failed dish or service-WITH a great champagne (like 96 Krug or Pol Roger Cuvee Winston Churchill) , an unforgettable experience-I prefer younger Champagnes with this food rather than those from the 80's --super cold also -the crispness of the younger Champagne seems to go better with the very authentic Thai... The food here is great - I had the spicy tuna roll and the shrimp drunken noodles. The only downside is they only have beer and wine, with two sake cocktails. I was really looking forward to a nice Margarita!
