We felt special from the moment we stepped in. The food was AMAZING and the service was spectacular. The bellydancer was one of the best I’ve ever seen. Super fun environment. We had a blast, but most of all, the food can’t be beat. Phenominal...experience!More
Great casual restaurant in Northwood. We have been here several times and both experiences have been outstanding from the owners, to the servers, to the food. We tried it ourselves first then brought guests. The lamb on flat was just the right spices and the...lamb shank fell off the bone. We also enjoyed the belly dancer and the baklava was the best I've ever eaten. We all enjoyed the experience. Will be returning.More
Agora has been a top restaurant on TripAdvisor for several years and well deserved. We went on Friday night with our two little boys. We were warmly greeted by the owner and brought to our table. Service all night was very attentive. Food was fresh...and full of flavor. Huge variety of Turkish food to chose from even our kids tried some new foods. The belly dancer was a nice surprise. Portions are good size so plan ahead for that.More
Great mediterrenean taste!
I think they have the best food in Florida. Although place is small and tiny, the atmosphere is authentic, gets warmer after 8pm with belly dancer. Try lamb shank and roasted eggplant. Manti starter was also great!
If you haven’t tried this place yet, I certainly recommend trying it sooner rather than later. The atmosphere is beyond welcoming, the decor is awesome, the food is outstanding. We had the artichokes as an app, accompanied w baba ganoosh & pita. As for the...main course, we had lamb shank special/ which was out of this world and cevabi. For desert, we had bakalava and apple accompanied with Turkish cofffee. The food was beyond amazing. Ask to try Semih’s Mom Favorites!! The service was very helpful (showing examples of dishes) and being on top of things. They even have belly dancing on Friday and Saturday- which I can’t wait to see. The bathrooms were clean and beautifully decorated as well. It’s heart warming to see the owners heavily involved in the operation & working along side their staff. As a locally owned, operated and sourced place it’s easily one of my favorite places in All of West Palm Beach which also makes it a Great date night spot. With so many different food options(vegetarian friendly)we will absolutely be returning. If you want an authentic Turkish meal look no further. thank you to the owners and all of the staff who truly made our experience wonderful. Can’t wait to return.More
I just came on here to write a review, and in reading some others' reviews, I'm really surprised to see the responses to poor reviews from the owner, Semih O. They read v defensive and rude to me, so much so that for that reason...alone I wouldn't go back.
We enjoyed our meal. Our server was lovely and helpful and the ambiance is quirky and unexpected. We like that. We've travelled a lot in the Med, spending quite a lot of time in both Greece and Turkey. The food at Agora was fine - some things better than others, but nothing I'd rush back for.
We asked to sit outside but were told those tables were booked. It was a bit disappointing when we left 90 minutes later and the outside tables were still empty - no one having sat at them. Perhaps there were no shows. These things happen.More

Thank you for your review but rather than a review it really sounds like a message from an ex. Can I get a second date :-)
Please read all of our reviews and you will see many customers say they come to meet the owner...More
Wonderful hospitality, food and live music. Our server Ruby (?) was so kind and helpful. She answered all our questions and offered excellent suggestions. Our appetizers and dinner were fresh and flavorful, and the portions were very generous. The guitarist was fabulous and definitely added...to the festive vibe. I love to visit this restaurant when I vacation in the Palm Beach area. Highly recommend.More
The food was simply not good. The mezzes were edible but the main course wasn’t. They had only one type of beer and a very limited wine selection. We dined outside and the music was loud and repetitive (almost to the point of driving you...to insanity). The staff was courteous. I had dined at Agora previously and had a pleasant experience. Not this time. Hopefully it was just a bad night for the restaurant.More

We are very confused as you wrote: ( I had dined at Agora previously and had a pleasant experience ) Why didn't you write a 5 star review for this previous experience? You were not happy this time and you wrote a 1 star review...More
Visited the restaurant on a Friday night. We went early when it was somewhat quiet. As it got busy, the background noise picked up. However, it was a happy noise of people having a good time. The food and service was exceptional. The owner and...chef stopped over a couple of times. My wife had the lamb shank and it was enough to feed a family of four. The sauce the shank was in was the best I have ever had. The belly dancer starts at 8 p.m. so be prepared.More
My wife and I had dinner here during a 4 day vacation. The atmosphere is sort of a combination of historic Istanbul and a chic modern vibe. The owner is quite charismatic and treats you like family. We ordered the Beyti Kabob Special, Iskandar Kabob,...and a few tapas. All I can say is wow! The dishes were bursting with flavor with many different spices. This place is the real deal! We will certainly be back.More
It was amazing evening, we had a great time!Food was delicious, my favorite Salmon Casserole ,and Lamp shank .Appetizers like dolma, babaganush we love! Life music, and belly dancer made our celebration extra special!
We will be celibrating very soon another friend birthday!
My girlfriend found this place as the top rated restaurant in the area. We went there around 8 pm on a Friday. Disclaimer; I am Turkish and I know my Mediterranean food and I usually lower my expectations when going to a Turkish/Greek restaurants to...avoid disappointment.
We went there hoping to drink raki with meze. My girlfriend wanted to have the doner(gyro). They did not have neither doner or raki. They don’t serve raki/ouzo or any other type of liquor. Maybe they don’t have a liquor license. Drink choices were few wines, none of which were good, sangria and limoncello. Most people were drinking sangria. I don’t know what sangria and limoncello are doing in a Turkish/Greek restaurant.
We ordered the meze sampler. We received braised leeks, white bean salad, spinach borek, imam bayildi (braised eggplants) and dolma. They were all bland, no flavor. Leeks (zeytinyagli pirasa) and eggplant (imam bayildi) were not cooked properly. I asked for lemon and salt to revive the food. They served pita bread with borek and canned burger pickles with dolma…
My girlfriend ended up ordering kofte and I ordered the Adana kebap and coban salad to share. We waited about 30 minutes for the main course. Staff came and apologized for the delay couple of times which we appreciated. The food once arrived did not look right. The salad was not fresh. It looked like it was prepped the night before and kept in the fridge and barely had any kind of dressing. I again asked for some olive oil and lemon to revive the salad. Kofte did not come off a grill. It looked like it was cooked either in an oven or on a flat top grill. Adana kebap looked like it was grilled. However I took one bite of the Adana kofte and it was barely edible. I did not eat my dish. My girlfriend had one kofte and left the food alone. We asked for the check after a disappointing experience.
Manager brought shots of limoncello, couple pieces of baklava and pudding in a shot glasses. We appreciated the gesture. I tasted the baklava my girlfriend tasted the pudding. Baklava was the best thing I had; girlfriend said the pudding was bad and tasted like boxed pudding.
One can tell almost every dish that came out was prepped from canned food. I’m not sure how this place is the top rated restaurant in the area. I would give this place one star if it was not for the friendly staff.More

First of all we only have a wine and beer license and do not sell hard liquor. Doner is considered fast food. We are a fine dining establishment. Sometimes we have doner, sometimes we do not. We have an extensive wine list. Even several Turkish...More
