Came in for brunch for my wife’s birthday. Food was excellent. Service was horrible. Dropped our food off and our waiter was never seen again. Busser cleared our plates and we stared out the window for 30 minutes. I had to go ask the hostess,...who was comatose, to get me any waiter. We had to ask to pay. It’s a shame. The food was good but the over all dining experience was one of the worst I have ever experienced. I’m glad it didn’t complete ruin my wife’s birthday.More

It had been years since I first dined here and last night I decided to take my wife here for her birthday. From host to server to all, they treated us excellently. We started off with a glass of cab and martini which were both...perfect. Really nice fill on the martini! Then we moved onto to escargot, beet salad, and the best beef tartare I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few. Wow. Just wow! All of them were incredible but it’s the beet salad that we keep talking about. Escargot was so great we ordered a second helping and then some french onion soup. Delicious. We split the beef bourguignon which was, wait for it…spectacular. What a great night. Drinks never ran dry. Our server was quick on his feet and a delight and we finished with a crème brûlée that was extravagant and a chocolate mousse, on the house, that was a nice touch for my lovely lady’s birthday. The experience put us in another world, so much so that I left a nice pair of sunglasses but no worry, I received a timely call that they had them and I was soon reunited. Treat yourselves to this experience. It’s well worth it! Thanks, Pistache!More

The entire experience was delightful. I don't know what to say about which was better: the food, the service, the ambiance. Let's say all of it was outstanding. The Onion Soup, Delicious? Salmon, right on point Chocolate Mousse was best I've ever had. Not to...forget the bread and the whip cream. Cannot wait to go back for dinner. Our server, Lexi, was outstanding. Main course came out too quickly but they took back and it was delicious. Can't wait for next time.More

We arrived at 6 PM on a Friday night and were promptly seated on the patio. Immediately upon being seated we were served water and bread with wonderful French butter. Our server came to our table quickly to see if we would like drinks and...asked if we had any questions on the menu. Our server was very knowledgeable about the food on the menu and answered the questions that we had. We started with salads and a glass of wine. I would highly recommend the beet salad it was fresh, delicious and refreshing. My entrée was the truffle macaroni and cheese and my friends ordered the salmon and Bronzino for their entrées. The macaroni and cheese was a nice size portion of cheesy deliciousness. My friends said their fish was fresh and flavorful. For dessert we shared the rum bread pudding and the cream Brulé. The meal was outstanding. The service was quick, professional and friendly. this is definitely a restaurant I would eat at again and again.More

Made a reservation for Easter brunch for two people at fixed price if $85 each. Specified the table I wished to reserve and the staff member was able to research and confirm the table had been where I had dinner previously. The staff member assured...me they could hold that table for me. This table was situated the furthest from other tables and because of a Covid, that was important for me. My guest from out of state and I arrived exactly on time for our noon reservation and we were told the table was occupied. The staff at the desk were not interested in even listening to what I described above. They only wanted to push us to the only other open table squeezed between two very full tables. They claimed they do not “reserve specific tables for anyone.” However, I recall seeing such signs on the tables there previously! The best they could offer was to have us wait until the customers at the table finished their entree and then their desert. Really? Not good enough. We left. The staff members didn’t seem to care. The food might be good, but if a place is mismanaged and service poor due to arrogant staff with no business sense or class, why spend more than $200 for that!More

I thought the quality of the food and the preparation was poor and was over-priced for what you received. To begin, $17.00 for a Martine! The food was very small portions (Duck entree). The pate was inferior quality.

According to my boyfriend, it felt like France. Our...server was Andres and he was amazing! Such a charm and charisma that made our experience that much better! He made delicious suggestions and never steered us wrong! If you haven’t been here yet, we highly suggest that you do!More

We went with another couple and stared with an amazing shared charcuterie platter. The outside seating was pleasant - not at all like restaurants that seat you in the parking lot. I was able to get a delicious gluten-free meal with no after effects. We...will definitely go again.More

We stumbled onto Pistache on a mid day and found delicious food and nice service. My girlfriend and I were looking for a restaurant where we could talk and not shout over the noise with good food. The parking attendant recommended Pistache and I tipped him later to thank him. From the minute we walked in the new manager Mark...greeted us with open arms. We had a high top in the bar and our server Erica was awesome - martini's, mussels and escargot to start with delicious french bread to soak up all of the juices from both dishes. We then split the salmon that was by far the best I have ever had. Service, food and libations would make any frenchman proud.More

Pistache was recommended by a local client as a good French restaurant and it did not disappoint. We dined on a slow Super Bowl night and enjoyed traditional French fare: escargot in garlic butter, frisée salad, boeuf tartare, and a local fish - finished by...traditional crème brulée. Go!More

The setting of the outdoor porch overlooking the park and water is very pretty, especially on a beautiful day! Our waiter was terrific too - prompt and friendly. We would highly recommend the smoked salmon plate and croque monsieur - very tasty! The review of..."poor" has more to do with 2 things that happened: 1. Our wait time for a table outside was 1 hour and the host took our number to call/text us when a table outside became available. Again, he did tell us an hour and we understood this timing, and we did clearly specify "outside". At 1 hour, we hadn't heard anything so we walked back to the restaurant to check-in and there were 3-4 empty tables for 2 outside on the porch (and plenty of staff to service them). When we asked the host where we were on the list, he looked surprised to see us, looked at the list and told us he had a table available for us now. (No call/text, we were thinking?) He led us to an indoor table. When we told him we'd left our name for an outdoor table, he argued before taking us reluctantly outside to one of the multiple empty tables. He was not gracious, friendly or any of the things you would expect from a host - instead, he placed our menus down without any word. One could only assume that he "saved" the outdoor tables for special customers. 2. A group of 6 sat at the table next to us. They had 2 dogs with them that remained on their laps at the table, even though the dogs were mid-sized and not really lap dogs. The waiter brought 2 bowls of water for the dogs and placed the bowls on the table. The dogs then drank out of the bowls on the table. Maybe we just hit a bad day and maybe these details wouldn't bother others... I leave it to the reader.More

fantastic service and really good French bistro food. we were 15 minutes late for our reservation (parking was a challenge) but they seated us immediately, no questions asked. water and bread were immediately brought to our table. wait staff soon followed. the bread was great:...super crusty outside and extra soft inside. hard not to fill up on bread before our food arrived. pate de compagne was good but not amazing. risotto had good texture and lots of umami. beef bourguignon was solid comfort food with a shiny glaze. filet au poivre was very tender with the expected peppery creamy sauce done well. frites were perfect. profiteroles came with a rich chocolate sauce and crunchy almond Choux. small complaint: the ice cream could have been a little less frozen. flavor was excellent. all in all, Pistache was what it advertises: French bistro food done well with superior service.More

Open Table Reservation 2110041403 Stayed downtown this weekend, at the Ben just around the corner, while I reside in Wellington, we often will stay downtown following a football weekend or just an evening downtown. We really wanted to try your place, honestly, we’ve heard great...things. We confirmed a reservation for yesterday, arrived a few moments early and we were promptly seated – we were greeted almost immediately with water service and reviewed the menu. After waiting for almost 10 minutes, multiple servers walking by, no one addressed us – after waiting a few more minutes we simply politely walked out – this after saying “good day” the host staff, not one person attempted to ask us if everything was “OK” if they could help us – I was disappointed in the level of service, but even more shocked no one attempted to engage on the way out….. They obviously knew who we were when we walked out, as I received the a message via email that our reservation was canceled by the establishment – wow. Ended up having a great brunch just around the corner @ Batch. Disappointed....More
