Cannon's is like comfortable old shoes and is beloved by locals who are normally the majority
They serve great breakfast, lunch with a broad menu to a crowded house and dinner.
There are lunch specials, a full bar, sandwiches, plus seafood, pasta, steaks and highly rated prime rib.
The decor is comfortable, if you are lucky you may get a booth right on the picture windows facing the runways
Something for everyone.

We went with 4 friends and we all ordered something different. The salads were nice, but nothing special. The turkey dinner was also fine, but again nothing special. I can think of two places locally which offer a much nicer turkey plate.The liver and onions which my husband ordered was overcooked and the liver tough. The salmon looked fine, maybe the best looking dish on the table. We did enjoy the complimentary desserts they offer. The atmosphere was good. Really enjoyed the fact that they didn't have anyone playing music which has been a distraction before. The service was for the most part attentive. All in all, it was just a very average meal. Nothing awful, but surely nothing outstanding.

Only been there for breakfast, and thought it was very good so returned for breakfast with little kids. Very impressed on how the staff dealt with the little ones and helped us share plates with everyone at the table. The breakfast was very good and with a liquor license bloody mary's, screwdrivers and appertivos with your coffee is a nice touch, as is the view of the airport if you are lucky enough to see any planes moving close by. Nice selection of dishes, well prepared and portioned at decent price point.
They accept major credit cards. I intend to return for a lunch or dinner and see it will still be very good.

Food was good but.......my bill was initially itemized for $56.08 (two meals and three drinks.) I gave our server a credit card and she came back with an unitemized bill for $75.24. I told her I thought it was $56.08 and she went to check on it. After 20 minutes another staff member came back and apologized, bringing tyhe original bill for $56.08 back. My point is, they never offered me a glass of wine or a discount or gift card after sitting alone at the table for 20 minutes. The other 5 family members were waiting in the lobby the whole time!! The staff should have offered some recompense for the long wait......

Went to pick up a rental. Car at hertz at the airport and found a lovely spot fir breakfast and lunch. They do a booming business on the weekends and specialize in omelettes and comfort food. Excellent service, good prices and tasty food. They have daily fir used as well and have a large bar outside in the main terminal. A great alternative spot with plenty of parking

Always good. Nothing bad comes out of the kitchen. i tend to believe that Chuck Cannon is monitoring everything at all times. Two small meeting rooms are sufficient for this size community. Breakfast selections are terrific. 'Judy' is a great waitress with a dynamic memory for your previous visits and tastes.

We love their dinners. I have had prime rib a lot there and it comes out perfect every time. And since I am on the keto diet, they have a keto menu which is great. The waitresses are great and lots of fun, sang to us when it was our birthdays and gave a complimentary huge piece of cake. When it was our anniversary, the waitress found out and gave a large piece of cake for celebration with two forks. Love this place and it has been our most favorite place to eat!

We liked this place. The foo is a GREAT value and the place is almost always packed with locals so you can get a true feel for the area. We enjoyed watching the aircraft take off and land. With a new airline doing flights in and our to the North East it becomes a really exciting yet small airport.
Back to the menu...vast array and you could even request something as we did for a sensitive diet child....most accommodating.

We just moved to the area August 2022. We have hopped around Vero trying to find a “residents”place with reasonable prices and decent food. What you get at CJ’s great food, fair pricing, and the best of all….. People who make you want to come back. From the over 30 years of being there hostess, to great waitresses like Raven and Julie.
Our second visit you would have thought we had gone there for years. Now our fifth visit they have us “our table” know “our drinks” and know what to recommend. If you don’t see it on the menu ask, they will go out of their way to make sure you leave happy and come back the same. The food is fresh and very good. My wife and her liver and onions, or a Strip Steak that can pass for any high dollar Resteraunt cut of meat. Desserts home made, and bar tenders who want you happy not leave with light pours and empty pockets.
Breakfast is unbelievable, and lunch specials and favorites are incredible. Rambled enough! Stay away as we love this great Vero Beach Secret the way it is . (LOL)

Newly remodeled, CJ Cannon's remains one of Vero's most dependable spots for breakfast, lunch, or even a moderately priced dinner. Long-standing and competent wait staff. Owner is often the hostess. I've never had a bad meal there. Tile floor and wood ceiling make it a bit noisy sometimes.

I took my husband here for breakfast to celebrate his retirement. I’ve had breakfast here with friends and it was always excellent. Unfortunately, this time was not good. It took nearly an hour to get our breakfast and we were told it was because of the “banquets” that were going on. Ok, that’s fine, I get it, but the breakfast was terrible. Everything except the eggs was almost burned. The hash browns and bacon were so hard I couldn’t eat them. My husband’s hash was almost burned.
After waiting so long I wasn’t going to send it back, but I did bring it to the waitress’s attention when we were leaving. Again, she blamed it on the banquets. Very upsetting considering we paid full price for our breakfast and deserve the same quality food as those banquet guests, my husband said he’ll never return and I have to agree. Very poor customer service.

I visited this restaurant with a group of ladies, where we had our own room. The service was excellent, and yet we had time to get reacquainted and talk with each other. It was quiet, and the food delicious, I enjoy the Polynesian salad, where the chicken is the most tender I have ever had. We went there this week, too, and I ordered the same salad! It is even good leftover!

wife and i went for dinner. I had blackened prime rib. ordered mmedium but it was so thin they could only serve it well done. Then every bite was full of fat, not marebeling but mushy awful fat. Broccoli was overcooked and limp. My wife had fried oysters. they were little scrappy pieces of oysters. the onion rings were mushy.i spent about $80 and ate maybe 5 bites. willnever go back and will discourage others from wastging their money. waitress ws ok. neverinquirede as to quality. She did fill drinks in a timely manner.

Unexpectedly delightful.
Who would expect an airport restaurant to have good food at reasonable prices?
I certainly didn’t. The only restaurants I’ve been to at an airport were chains and only after passing security.
CJ’s is open to the public even if you are not flying. No security check! 😀
Four of us dined on prime rib, crab cakes, salmon and a filet. Food was good and hearty portions.
Dinners came with an appetizer of cornbread and cheddar biscuits muffins. Also two side choices and dessert.
What a feast.

We always know we can find something good to eat here. The menu is varied and always delicious. We have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and were always pleased. The breakfast benedicts are amazing with several choices. The ribs are always cooked perfect. You can't go wrong with anything you order. We always bring our guests to eat here and they are always pleased.
