This restaurant is excellent.....you can always count on a good meal here. I do not eat seafood or fish, so always order the steak....delicious, and yummy french fries. The other three ordered fish/seafood dishes which all agreed were delicious. The wine list is extensive, and you can take unused wine portions home in the bottle.

We have only eaten on the upper level and it was just terrific. It's one of those places that gathers you in with natural beauty, superbly prepared food and efficient but not annoying service.* We have had the Sole Tacos......very crispy......so good and the Seseame Tuna Wrap......excellent. *I really want to comment on the service which is excellent. Too many... More

Call for a reservation and if there is anyway possible sit outside upstairs. Ask for Andrea as your server. A professional but a hoot as well.

The Crow's nest has an upper level and a lower level. We ate at the lower level which has a more informal atmosphere which was very nice. I ordered a chicken wrap which was not all that good. It tasted fine, but it fell apart (train the cook) and contained much more lettuce than chicken. For $12.00 it should have... More

We visited the Tavern (the main floor of the building) for a bite to eat and a cold drink after attending a movie. Our waiter, Neil, was attentive and knowledgeable and impressed us with his manner. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the Smoke Salmon Platter which was huge and would have easily satisfied two people as an appetizer. We... More

Our first visit was for lunch in the Tavern and they have the best fried sole sandwich I've had in ages. Our second visit was to the upper level with our Daughter and Granddaughter for another lovely luncheon. Our last visit was for a birthday celebration and the open faced seafood ravioli was amazingly good. Hard to get reservations during... More

The Crows Nest is a moderately higher end restaurant. It's location off the South jetty in Venice, Florida it offers great views and a nostalgic dinning experience. The food is good but I feel sometime over rated compared to lesser rated restaurants. The service is usually excellent but when busy we have had some less than excellent service. In all,... More

We like to dress up and go to this place for special occasions and enjoy a very nice dinner. It has beautiful views out of the windows and we attempt to get a window seat whenever possible. It's beautiful inside and even has a place to sit outside when the weather is good enough to do so. We have enjoyed... More

During a prior visit to Venice, we had lunch at the Crow's Nest. We enjoyed it so much we decided to book a celebratory dinner on our recent return to Venice. They did accomodate our request for outside seating under the portico. From there we had a great view of the marina along with boat traffic to and from the... More
