We met friends for lunch and we had an excellent meal. We had fresh salads with tuna, Thai shrimp and a regular salad with goat cheese. Our meal was so good we went back Saturday night for dinner. Well worth the 5 minutes off the exit on our way from st. Pete to Captiva. Charles is a great cook and a lovely businessman. Kids had the Reuben, I had a delish spinach salad and my husband had a burger. Something for everyone. Beyond reasonably priced, fresh and nicest servers. Big thumbs up!

Chicken curry salad sandwich, butternut squash soup, and the fish ruben were great. Owners go out of their way to make the visit friendly.

Here's the good - the shrimp and grits are really tasty - a little light on the shrimp and heavy on the grits. The mimosa was good but very pricey for a mimosa. My husband had a half cooked pancake and bacon cheese grits and too two bites of the grits - not good. I have read so many good... More

My wife and I had dinner and were blown away by the Shrimp and Grits. Lots of Shrimp and the dish was delicious. We have been for breakfast and lunch and have never been disappointed. We will be back.

Family run; I support all good businesses that are locally owned and operated. Chaz 51 is a friendly and inviting cafe. Menu items offer selection and fresh, quality ingredients you can taste. Ask for the Scotch Bonnet Sauce if you like it hot! Expect a well-run operation.Since our first visit, each person in our family has gone again and again.... More

A nice local restaurant on Knight trail road plain inside with a higher then normal noise level. service is very good, food is American and very good, Prices and midrange Ambiance is ok but nothing special. If you want a good meal, without the fancy trappings, a good place to go

I tried a southern breakfast of Bisquits and sausage gravy with a side of grits. It was good. Service is friendly. Location not the best but nothing wrong with the interior.

Friends who had eaten there before took us to dinner this past weekend. First impression - it's a very low budget place that does not have a lot of atmosphere, Almost looked like a cafeteria. Beer & wine only - no liquor. After a bit of disappointment in the décor of the place, once we were served our food,it was... More
