My wife and I had dinner on Monday evening, about 8pm. We were first timers, our friends recommended the place. Who knew you could get absolutely incredible seafood from a strip mall. Our waiter Stu was a regular guy from the area, it was great talking with him and he knew the menu like the back of his hand. Crab... More

We went on July 25 for lunch. My sister and I had the lunch Lobster lasagna. It was delicious. Not a big piece but a sliver actually with some good( not huge) size pieces of lobster. The sauce was really good and covered most of the plate. The garlic bread was good, too - not big but good. And it... More

My husband and I had dinner at Cedar Reef last night (Saturday). The wait was about 1/2 hour, mostly due to a large party that had taken up many of the tables. We decided to start with a glass of wine each. Our waiter came back to say they were out of shiraz (which I had ordered). I ordered a... More

Waitstaff was attentive. Food was just average. They "specialize" in seafood, but it was what I label as bar seafood, nothing special about it. Their deep fried fish seemed to be heavy in grease, which means the oil was not hot enough when they fried the fish. The establishment seemed clean enough, but certainly nothing outstanding in decor. Don't know... More

Excellent seafood. Family was visiting from out of state and we ate here twice in one week. My husband asked if they ever had tile fish. Our efficient waitress Casey checked with her manager and they had it for my husband over the weekend! We were extremely impressed and it was delicious! Casey was an amazing waitress! Thank you for... More

My wife and I stopped by for lunch this week. This is a casual seafood restaurant serving beer and wine only. Tables were covered with butcher paper, and the utensils are metal and wrapped in plastic bag material. Service was prompt and friendly. There were several draft craft beer choices in addition to all the standard brands. I had a... More

We visit Cedar Reef multiple times on each family vacation we take to Venice! This is by far the best Fish Camp in town, with a truly amazing selection and excellent daily specials! The service is nothing short of spectacular and Jenn is an amazing server with an outstanding memory and her personality makes every time we dine with her... More

Cedar Reef is a small, but very popular restaurant so be prepared to wait a bit. (Ours was 30 minutes). However, it was worth the wait. The staff is nice and the food is quite good. The only downside was that the fries and homemade potato chips were a little overdone.

What a gem! Blackened Redfish with grilled shrimp on a bed of black beans and rice...scrumptious. Wishing they would open a fourth location in Canton, GA.

What a gem of a find! I visit my parents a few times a year and found Cedar Reef. I introduced it to my parents, who are locals. Never disappointed! !
