Terrible - the lady who took the order was sullen and rapped out the cost of each item before I'd finished speaking. Lo Mein noodles were so over-cooked they were sloppy mush, the chicken was dry and the whole mess had no flavor whatsoever. The...spring rolls were burnt. A total waste of time and money. There are many other Chinese restaurants - China 1 at Wellen Park is consistently good. There's no reason to go anywhere near China Jade.More

Mediocre food. Taste wasn’t bad; it just missed the mark. Broccoli in Beef with Broccoli was overcooked. Cabbage in Moo Shu Pork was overcooked. Braised Eggplant in Garlic Sauce was slightly too mushy and had no sliced onions in it, like it has in other...Chinese restaurants. We thought they were precooking the veggies to save time … and the veggies easily overcooked. Hot and Sour soup was sour enough and spicy hot, but not too hot, but again, the veggies were too soft and I couldn’t detect bamboo shoots, shiitakes or Lily buds … just cabbage and button mushrooms. I expected no atmosphere, but I didn’t expect surly staff. The gal spoke English well, without an accent even, but she didn’t want to do ANYTHING for us. The guy seemed more willing, but he spoke limited English. Neither was helpful unless I pressed. We ate there, and were totally put off. Table was slightly sticky, not cleaned off well. There were no soup spoons, just teaspoons. Also no bowls … we were given 4-cup plastic containers to eat from. Hubby gave up on spooning soup with their teeny teaspoon and just drank his portion. At the end of the meal, we had to ASK for a lid for soup container, and a bag to carry the containers. We chose China Taste because its ratings seemed to be a bit more favorable than other Chinese restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, that was not the case for us. We would never go back. Although I love Chinese food, I would rather go without than eat the mediocre dishes with the overcooked vegetables like we had tonight.More

We finally found a great Chinese restaurant after searching for two months. This place is in a strip mall anchored by Publix grocery. It is very small but does have limited seating inside. We love the food and have been three times. My favorite is...the Singapore mei fun (noodles). It is the best that I have had…ever! The dinner portion is huge and can easily feed two. The wonton soup has real chicken taste with stuffed wontons. The shrimp in lobster sauce is fantastic. The shrimp are large and the dish comes in two sizes. The hot and sour soup is wonderful, not too spicy…lots of wonderful ingredients. The only negative comment would be that anything in brown sauce was too salty for us to eat. We will continue to order from this restaurant. Most orders take 10 minutes.More

I have eaten here MANY times and I still go back. My Sister and her husband had about twenty guests and so they served up a couple of hundred dollars worth of all kinds of food purchased here. People went back for seconds and even...thirds. We were very happy with the results. This restaurant is very highly rated locally. It is strategically located almost directly in front of Walmart and right across rt 41 (Tamiami Trail) is a Publix shopping center. And right behind that is a strip mall with Bealls, Dollar Tree, Staples and more so you can "Grab and Go" with a multi stop shopping option. Everything I've ever had here has been good.More

We've been ordering from China Taste for several years (since 2017) because it reminded us of the food we used to get in New York's Chinatown. The Lo Mein, lobster sauce, egg rolls, beef, chicken, shrimp and special dishes were always delicious and contained plentiful...and quality ingredients. The last two times we ordered were progressively worse. The first time we thought it was a fluke, but it was even worse the second time just a few days ago. The wontons in the soup were filled with a mystery substance that even looked weird. The House Special Lo Mein was almost tasteless...it used to have that classic "kiss of the WOK" flavor..not anymore and the ingredients were skimpy, Very small shrimp (3), mostly chicken, 2 small slivers of pork and beef and a few sparse veggies. Even the noodles looked different...more like spaghetti. Totally lacking in flavor. We don't use a lot of salt, but this dish needed it. The beef with vegetables that used to be delicious was in a gummy overly thickened brown sauce that had little flavor. The vegetables were either hard as rock under cooked or mushy. The portion of beef was almost half of what we used to get. The egg drop soup was good as was the flavor and filling in the egg rolls. However, the egg rolls had a weird texture like they'd been reheated in a microwave. The white rice was average and OK. Sorry to say that we won't be ordering food from this establishment ever again. So sad to have lost what used to be a gem and our favorite go to Chinese take out. It's almost like losing a good friend...very deeply disappointing! I gave 2 stars for old times sake even though they weren't deserved. I normally used to give 5 stars.More

The pork was covered with a red dye to hide the fat and was difficult to chew. The vegetables were served in large chunks with little or no flavor. The rice was dry and unappealing . Overall the worst Chinese food ever

Food was not hot and was also missing 2 dishes that we had paid for. The food we did have was not very enjoyable. The bill was almost $200 dollars and most of the food was not eaten! Very disappointed ☹️

We had fried won tons-just ok; egg rolls again, just ok. The biggest disappointment was the Beef and Pea pods. Lacked flavor and never have I had large chunks of zucchini in my beef and pea pods. Mushrooms-yes; water chestnuts-yes; occasional carrot or celery but...zucchini never. I’m not a fan of it to begin with. I’d call this more vegetable beef chop Suey. We came here because of the great reviews. Our search for passable Chinese will continue.More

So much delicious food! Fried rice and hot and sour soup were amazing! Orange chicken was very good; not the best I’ve had but a close second. There was enough food in one entree to feed two adults! So, we will be eating leftovers for...the next day or so. Will definitely eat here again before we leave for home!More

We ordered takeout online. The food was ready at the time we asked for. The food is typical Chinese restaurant fare and very good. The hot and sour soup was different, tasty and not too spicy. It was mainly tofu and cabbage with sprouts and...other veggies but no meat. We had General Tso's Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork, both good. We also ordered Shrimp Egg Rolls, well made with whole small shrimp inside! When we are again in the mood for takeout we will be back!More

Brought in food for dinner party last night, the first time i have purchased from them. The reviews were good, but our experience was mixed. I know they can do better, so here is what we found. The chicken with cashews and barbque boneless pork...ribs were very good. The vegetable fried rice was nice, not oily at all. But it has too much cabbage in it and the pea pods were not fresh. The beef and broccoli seemed soggy, probably made a week ago and the oil had solidqified. But thh beef was tender and no fat. The beef chow main was unedible. And my fortune cookie had no fortune 🤨 my wife says it is better that way. She eats them. I don’t.More

I would like to know that myself. That is actually a concern of mine too. I could get back to you on that in about a week if you have that much time. Very good question.....
