Great butcher shop!

Do you want a place where you can still walk up to the meat counter and find a nice man named "Domenic" and ask him about the cuts of meat, or to prepare a tenderloin roast for you and give you his opinion, only when asked, on the best way to cook it? Then this is the place to go!... read more

Many people seem to rave about Herman's. They offer a wide selection of meats and deli items, but I found the store to be rather dirty and dated. They were grilling sausages and selling them, so I decided to try one. The flavor was good, but the texture was like sawdust.

Being new to the neighborhood, I had to stop by to see why there are so many good reviews. It was like a visit to a local meat market and grocery from long ago. Excellent meats, local vegetables, and even a little deli. I brought home some sausage and some fresh Chicken. They made wonderful meals.

This is a store not a restaurant but have been there over twenty times. Produce also excellent. Enjoy coleslaw, pickles. High quality beef cuts, great stuffed pork chops.

One of the few remaining neighborhood meat markets thrives on personalized service and high quality meats, produce, and baked goods. Has a very loyal following and deservedly so!
