I never grow tired of the Back Eddy. It's one of the few restaurants in Venice that I visit regularly and without exception have NEVER been disappointed with quality, ambience or service. Located one street back from the Venice Avenue plethora of Italian eateries and world's apart on all counts. No, it's not a cheap eats, two-for-one type of restaurant.... More

The food in this restaurant was excellent, I have no complains whatsoever. We had the Goat cheese stuffed figs and it was amazing. My husband had the Cod special and I had the Pork tenderloin, both were delicious, The server was equally pleasant and accommodating. No complains about her treatment of us except for below. The reason for a 3... More

Great little bistro with the best food and great staff. Worth walking one block over from the main street.

Back Eddy Bistro sits at the end of Miami Ave, which is the street behind Venice Ave. Most people visit the restaurants on Venice Ave because its what they see. Well.... they have NO idea what they are missing!!!! My husband and I went to one of their scheduled Wine Dinners... 5 courses of heaven...coupled with fabulous wines that I... More

Every 3 weeks during summer season, I look forward to their delicious 5 course dinner. They always have wonderful wine pairing and generous portions.

just OK food at an unreasonably high price. We were too late to get into Burgundy Square for dinner, just a few doors away, so stopped into this place. what a mistake!!

Within easy reach of W Venice Blvd. Enjoyed another dinner at the Back Eddy Bistro. Selected the Chef's special of pan seared Cod. Well prepared with a great selection of sides. They will make you feel welcome as walk in their restaurant.

Best dinner I've had in Venice area. Great service and nice atmosphere. Had the grouper special that was prepared perfectly. A little pricey but worth it.

Wonderful little restaurant one street over from the main street in downtown Verrnice. Great food and wonderful hosts. A real mistake for anyone who doesn't leave Venice Ave and walk the side street.

Once again another wonderful evening. We sat at the bar. Started with a delicious soup of the day with a shrimp stock, lemongrass, a crab ravioli and lots of lobster bits. I enjoyed the fried clam app and my husband had the best "shephatd's pie ever". Topped it off with a frozen soufflé. yum!! The food never disappoints. They are... More
