My husband and I go there all the time. First, you have to understand that this is not a typical restaurant with entrees. It has an Italian feel and it specializes in gourmet pizzas (or they call them tomato pies). The ingredients are always the best for the toppings, and the crusts are like puff pastry. I had reservations about visiting this place as we all are misguided as to what is a Pizza and how traditional Italian food is prepared, well a visit here will open your eyes and attack your taste buds with what can only be described as true Italian food cooked and served with such professionalism it is a delight to be... Upon the suggestion of my wife who had ordered "take out" from this restaurant previously, we stopped in one evening for dinner. I had the "diavlo/diablo" pizza which was a specialty item for that particular evening and I can tell you that it was scrumptious!

We ordered an Old World pie with half anchovy and half without. The anchovies were scattered throughout the pie and so... More

My in-laws spend the winter in Sarasota. When they come home they always talk about Scamotz. This year when we came to FL for vacation with them we finally got to try it out. I was not disappointed. Neither were the kids. Pizza was huge and i should have saved some to take home but i did not. The kids... More

We eat out a lot and this is the Best pizza we've ever had. We drive down from Sarasota for our favorite pizza every few weeks. Place is very small & quaint so you better get there early or late to get a table. They have some interesting salads and we always order the tasty homemade dressing. So there you... More
