I ordered the veggie quiche but they were out so I had the ham quiche instead. What a blessing! Best quiche I’ve ever had. It was served with a croissant and delicious fruit. Although I didn’t indulge in a breakfast cocktail, they all sounded delicious!

We ate breakfast here two days in a row because my husband loved the bagel and egg sandwich and I had to try the banana bread french toast...it was amazing. The shabby chic decor with chandeliers reminded me of New Orleans

This cafe is not large, but the furnishings and food were great. The service was okay. I ordered the sandwich and salad combo. The Hawaiian chicken on a croissant and Caesar salad were very good. The soup of the day was also delicious. It was...busy and only contained one bathroom. I would eat here again.More

If you haven't had one of their scones with Devonshire cream, then you haven't lived. The coffee cake is also to die for. Their breakfasts and lunches are also great and we are very discerning people!

This place is great on every front. All their food is expertly made and interesting but the scones are my personal favorite, especially the chocolate chip ones with the cream. Other favs are smoked salmon hash, huevos rancheros, Thai peanut tacos. Staff is friendly and...helpful. Some outdoor seating along Venice Avenue. Always great eats!More

Charming cafe and bakery. My sister brought me here for lunch. I had a crab cake sandwich with home made potato chips. It was really good. My sister always has the Hawaiian Chicken Salad. We both had scones for dessert. They were incredible—warm and fresh....This is definitely the place for a nice lunch, hot tea or just a snack when shopping in downtown Venice.More

My husband and I stopped for an afternoon cuppa and had the most delicious scone and pastry. Polite staff and good service. Highly recommended you stop and try their blueberry scones!

I stopped at Upper Crust impulsively and, for the Banana Bread French Toast alone, I’m glad I did. They have a great menu and tempting pastries on display inside. I normally order a boring egg breakfast, but decided to try the French toast since I...love banana bread. It was absolutely delicious. I imagine their other food is good too, the place seems popular and people looked happy while eating. My only disappointment was the service. They were quick enough, but not the friendliest. The man cleaning tables and whatnot was lovely and friendly, the waitress was not. Maybe she was having a bad morning, maybe it was because I am not a regular and clearly not from there. I don’t know, but it took something away from the experience. I’m happy I got to try the French toast though - so if you’re in Venice, FL - I recommend Upper Crust for this reason alone.More

Didn't see any gluten free but it is a very large menu, so a phone call to them could be worthwhile.

Absolutely! The entry has a solid slope from sidewalk to inside the cafe with ample room inside around each table to accommodate a wheelchair. Or you can dine out front on the sidewalk where there are 4 or 5 tables.
