While my wife and I were visiting from out of town, this establishment was recommended to us. Our take out was ready on time and was superb. I had Shrimp Mein Fun, a very large serving I ate over two meals, which contained probably 6...nice large shrimp that did not taste of chlorine. My wife had Chicken with broccoli, another very large serving, which she ate over three meals and the broccoli was very fresh. Next time we're in Valrico and desiring Chinese, we will order here. It is presently take out only due to COVID-19.More

I went for lunch on a Sunday and arrived around 1pm. Unfortunately, a large group of ~16 people appear to have been seated a few minutes before me and that impacted my experience somewhat. The sole server was running around the entire time, taking orders,...bringing lots of take-out orders from the kitchen, running the register, etc. I felt bad for her but she seemed to be handling it well. I was disappointed that they didn't have a lunch special that included an egg roll or soup - it was just the entree and fried rice, so I ordered the egg roll and hot-n-sour soup separately. The egg roll was only lukewarm - I'm sure because of the large group, and our orders were coming out at the same time. The soup was very good but had a sweetness to it that I'm not used to with hot-n-sour soup. The bowl was surprisingly large and it ended up only costing me $2.50 which I thought was very reasonable. My General Tso's chicken came out when I was barely halfway through eating my soup but that ended up being ok, because the chicken was still extremely hot when I got around to it. The portion was generous and the chicken was very tasty, in a slightly spicy sauce. The fried rice was very good, although the portion size was a little skimpy, I thought. I didn't have any trouble getting a refill on my drink, even with the poor waitress trying to take care of so many people all at the same time. My total came to $13 which is more than I'm used to paying for lunch at a Chinese restaurant, but not unreasonable. I look forward to returning, to try some other items. They have both booths and tables, and parking is right in front, so easily accessible for mobility challlenged people.More

We live very close to the restaurant and wanted to finally give it a go. We had our order delivered, quite fast service. The egg rolls are the best we have ever had in our 25 years in Florida, the fried pork dumplings were right...up there. The Mongolian Beef was to die for as was the fried rice. The Lo Mein was OK and could have used a little more oyster sauce and flat noodles are our preference. (they used round) All in all, a place to have great chinese, we will be repeat customers for sure. The delivery was not great, we ordered 3 dinners and got 1 fortune cookie and ordered egg rolls and did not receive any mustard.More

This is with out a doubt the best Asian in Valrico. I have tried them all and this is the place I keep going back to. Try the spider roll, you will not be disappointed.

Decided to try this place after seeing a flyer and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Restaurant was clean and the staff very courteous. We came specifically to try the Chinese dishes as we have been disappointed in many here. The Sushi...and Sushimi looked great but are priced a little high. Pros: Clean. Courteous service. Reasonably priced Chinese dishes with nice sized portions. Less than 10min wait for food to start being served. Nice menu variety. Quiet location with plenty of parking. Cons: Sushi seems to be priced higher than average. Short drink and liquour list though priced well. Overall, we were impressed. The boys and I experimented trying out the saltnpepper calamari, Szechuan beef, Shrimp in garlic sauce and the House Looks Mein. All we're good. The calamari was awesome! Definitely recommend them for authentic, fresh Chinese food. They do local delivery, in dining, and take out.More

This is by far the most quality Chinese food I've ever had delivered! You can taste the quality ingredients and it really makes a difference. The General Tso chicken was so tasty. Not one stringy piece of meat. Just white chunks of chicken. Can't wait...to try it again!!More

I have been here a few times and each time the food was great and the service was nice and pleasant. I have had food both from the Chinese menu (some of the best in my 48 years) and the sushi which was also some...of the top on my list...fresh and tasty! This place is highly recommended!!More

Not the standard Chinese take out. Food was fresh and made to order and flavorful. No filler to be had.

It's always been my belief that food quality makes or breaks most restaurants. So going to Robongi, I was expecting only adequate, because other than the sushi their menu looks very much like any other Chinese restaurant in the country. I was in for a...surprise. I ordered a spice chicken/beef/shrimp special. It was a dollar more than the regular meals. When the meal came out, it had a giant bird carved out of a carrot as a garnish. I didn't know people could carve a carrot, certainly not with this much detail. Now, had the food been ok, it would have been a nice surprise. But the food was really, really good. High quality ingredients, cooked properly, served hot, and the portion was large enough for me to take home some for tomorrow's meal. I did not try the sushi, because I really don't know how to order when it's not served buffet style. But if you're a sushi fan, I'm sure it's excellent too. An who knows, they may carve a fish out of a carrot when you get sushi. Nice little place, great food, and surprisingly not crowed at all.More

This the best Chinese Restaurant I have had the good fortune to find in a very long time. While the quality and taste of most Chinese restaurants are going down hill Robongi is setting new high marks. Soups, Sushi, Chinese dishes and everything in general...is really good! If you order Szechuan, Hunan, Five-spice, or just General Tso's Chicken, that is what you will get! I Love it.More

Saw the banner from the road side. Binged it, saw the establishment was fairly new. We arrived around 630, place not full but there other patrons dining. menu was informative and with pics. They have an all you can eat option that included sushi, sashimi,...appetizers, desserts etc. we went the all you can eat route. the egg drop soup was on point, the salad was good (too much dressing) but the sushi was superb very fresh, texture was right and the portions and presentation was professional. The only draw back was they did not have any plum wine on the menu. other than that, I will be back.More
