Super Scoops is a necessary stop when you visit Treasure Island. The bright, uplifting, and casual atmosphere sets the tone as you notice many delicious flavors of ice cream. However, I picked the Root Beer Float: Excellent Root Beer with delicious homemade vanilla ice cream. It was a classic dessert treat. I recommend Super Scoops to vacationers and locals alike.

Rented a boat at the marina next door and what day would be complete if it didn't include a treat. Uncle Matt had to treat all 11 nieces and nephews and the staff here could not have been more enjoyable. First of all, we arrived just as Mom was stacking the freshly-made waffle cones - the aroma filling the air.
The quality of the ice cream here smacks down any competition including those big chains. The kids had a ton of flavors to pick from. I went with my usual chocolate/peanut butter and it was fantastic.
Lastly, they have a very nice selection of old-time candy. I can't even remember when I had a Charleston Chew but they had all of the flavors.
Do yourself a favor and get down here. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES! They need our support now, more than ever.

It can be hard with a little having peanut allergies at ice cream places. The owners here are well aware as their family has them as well. They go above and beyond to ensure safety. They have a separate case for ice cream that is peanut free and wash scoops in between. The ice cream was enjoyed by all with no worries.

Reading about this place immediately makes me think of the story of the Emperor’s New Clothes. I can’t think of any other reason why it is fawned over.
Ice cream being my favorite treat in the world, you can imagine how excited I was to try a place that is seemingly revered by just about every person that has ever been there. Well gosh, I’ve tried it twice now and do NOT get the hype. It is FINE. But it is nothing special. At all. Had 4 different flavors; tried their waffle cone; tried a sundae. All mediocre in my opinion, (and in the opinion of guests that joined me on both visits).
I wish them well and give kudos to them for being a business that impresses people with their friendly customer service. That is rare these days, so my stars are mostly for that.

My 82 year old Dad was wanting a traditional banana split and it was made to perfection. The ice cream is delish! They were short staffed but well worth the wait. Reasonable prices. There was a line at 9:00 pm. As we talked to the customers they were returned customers and the assured us it would not disappoint. The gentleman behind the counter was so kind. This is our new favorite ice cream place.

My husband and I wanted to end our week on Treasure Island with a treat, so we had ice cream here. The scoops are generous in size. One scoop of banana crunch (walnuts, chocolate chunks and banana ice cream) made my day. My husband had peach and butter pecan; couldn’t believe that the cone held 2 scoops. Friendly staff and you can sit outside to eat.

There are 3 ice cream shops very close to each other and I chose this based upon reviews. We are lucky at home with a fantastic place and Super Scoops was not as creamy or flavorful. Plus the waffle cone bowls must have sat there all day because they were stale at 8 PM when we were there.

I do NOT understand what the big deal is about this place. The chocolate ice cream soft serve is like soup so forget the cone. The wait is absurd and surely not worth it. I tried it twice on my trip mainly because it was convenient. Both times I was underwhelmed. The staff flits around and tries to be conscious of social distance but falls short with all the plexiglass you can’t see or hear through. The place looked dirty. The tables outside are not cleaned. I felt like I needed to wash my hands after leaving. Won’t be back. Don’t waste your time.

Go!!! Ice cream was incredible and our “scooper” can thru in the clutch when the FL humidity rapidly melted our scoops. You can sample and I love the Butterscotch Captain. Excellent topper to our Middle Grounds Grill meal!

I come to Super Scoops every time I come to Treasure Island and it never disappoints. There are always tons of standard and unusual flavors. There is something for everyone. The ice cream is rich and delicious. The people working there are always cheerful, warm and polite. I have been stopping in when I visit for 5 years, and although the staff change the attitude never does. I have been to all of the others in the area (Larry's Handmake, The Shake Shop one, all of them), and although some of also very good, Super Scoops is the best.

Me and my family stayed here for 4 days. We went to Super Scoops 4 days.
Every single day we were greeted, remembered, and honestly we were surprised by the kindness and loyalty that the employees had towards us. They remembered our lil boy and girl, and they remembered their names!
The main reason I write this is because the owner, a young man, Cory, I believe, was extremely kind and went out of his way to make our kids happy every day. We'll be customers for life. Best Ice Cream Around!

Stopped by to cleanse our palate after a spicy dinner. It was well worth the extra steps. The ice cream was creamy and flavorful. But more importantly the staff treated us as we were the most important customers. They were clearly appreciative of our business.

My husband and I shared a banana split. At $8.25 it was a bargain. I had the toasted coconut with hot fudge. He had Rocky road and peach with strawberries and pineapple and marshmallow, whipped cream and cherries on all. Of course there was a banana as well. The ice cream was scrumptious and the whole thing was quite a treat. We highly recommend this place. The young woman working there did everything with a big smile and was a pleasure.

Ok it doesn't look like much from the outside, but if you like Yoder's ice cream, you'll find it here. They were making fresh waffle cones when we arrived so the sweet smell wafting through the door drew us in. Staff was helpful with samples. Price higher end of reasonable, but serving size was generous. Overall, it was good.
