It really is a good cheesesteak, including the rolls from Philly. But after the "bait and switch " we had, I'm not sure if we'll be back OR ever recommend it to anyone. The cheesesteak was $1 more on the bill than on the menu,...and the "free" vegetables were charged at $1 /each?? When we questioned the "manager" (son of the family) who had to call "daddy", we pointed out small blurb on the menu that read "subject to change"! Really? Too lazy to print a new menu? It's not the price, it's the principle!More

We ate there after paddling with Get-Up-&-Go clear bottom kayaking and visiting DeSoto State Park's North Beach, and before visiting Billy's Loft (terrific open air bar with quite the view) to celebrate a great day. The meat was perfect (not one iota of grizzle) and...the cheese was awesome!More

Don't know what they put on their Home Fries, but they're awful. The place really needs a sprucing and cleaning

Saw the reviews and went to check it out. Cozy, Robin was super, meat was Boars Head. Fresh and delicious. Definite win for us.

As Philadelphia transplants for almost 30years, the quest for a great cheesesteak has been ongoing. Look no further, this is it!! My husband and I stumbled upon this place while staying with our son during a home remodel. The fries are perfection. Just like boardwalk...fries "down the shore". And the cheesesteaks are freaking unbelievable!? Almost puts Jim's, Pat's and Gino's to shame. I kid you not! They don't use Whiz, but don't let that stop you! EAT HERE!!More

Great food and service. We got the Boca Philly (vegetarian) and the fries that were hand cut style, both were excellent.

We just stayed at fort desoto. Phila Deli is by far 0ur favorite spot. Consitant, yummy, and worth going back to. Wish I could bring them home with me!
