My husband and I are attending a tournament nearby and are trying to eat "plant based". We were worried about finding something to eat in the area. I found this online. So glad we did!
We both ordered the hummus paninni. It was delicious and huge. We both had to box part of the sandwich to take home They offered all of their sandwiches as a salad if you want to avoid the bread.
Service was very friendly and quick. The hummus and pickels were made on site. Very delicious. If we are in the area again we look forward to going back !

Stopped in this adorable restaurant after going to some local antique stores. It was super cute inside- my iced coffee was great and the menu looked delicious. I settled on a turkey curry sandwich on a croissant. The sandwich was great- Can’t wait to go back.

I was very impressed with the menu selection. Different combinations on paninis, flat breads and wraps. Unusual decor and different atmosphere. The three of us all had something different and all really enjoyed our lunches. Plan on going back soon and enjoying a different choice. Coffee was wonderful. We all like trying something different and this stop has all of that! Tryi it. You will not be sorry.

The location is quaint and fun as I think it used to be an old service station. However, if you have more than 4 people you MUST sit outside as they won't let you put tables together (probably a fire code thing) so for us it was hot because we had 6 people. You order at the counter and then they eventually bring your food out. And it's brought out one order at a time, not one table at a time. Those are whatever. The reason I really gave it 3 stars is the following: the staff is nice enough but not overly nice, most of the sandwiches have spicy something on them and I can't do spice. I got a salad because I really felt like I couldn't eat any of the sandwiches. However, the portions are big and possibly sharable if you aren't overly hungry. I'd be back if I weren't picking the place but it's not my first choice of places to eat.

Very disappointed. I placed a curbside order online @ 12:03. My confirmation email said 20 - 30 minutes. I called when I got there at 12:19 p.m. told the lady I was already outside. She said she would see if my order was ready and bring it out. I called back at 12:37 p.m. and was told that I still needed to pay and they were to busy to deal with curbside. I had paid for my order online she then asked me about the wrong order. She finally brought me my food at 12:43 (which would have been fine) & told me that if I'd noticed online it says a 30 minute wait. While I was trying to speak she interrupted me & started walking off. I said excuse me I was speaking & started to ask for her manager when she interrupted me again to tell me that I was rude. I said don't worry about it & that I was never going to come back.

This place has an amazing vibe. They have put lots of work into creating a fun, funky space. Lots of variety on the menu, plus coffee, bottled sodas, and adult bevys. So yummy and fun!

it's always good! The staff is friendly. I like to visit when I'm at the library across the street. It's a fun, quirky place to stop in.

Incredible coffee, if you can handle spicy I highly recommend their el Diablo! I’ve had quite a few of their sandwiches and all of them have been unhinged! Five stars, all day long! Friendly staff, incredible food, and quirky atmosphere make this an awesome place!

My wife and I were driving around some smaller cities west of Orlando and decided to stop in Tavares. It was getting near lunchtime and I checked TripAdvisor and saw some positive reviews for Deli Llama. I cannot understand how good it was.
The sandwich I had was as good a sandwich as I can remember eating in a long long time. I had the Fat Ham n’ Cheese. I will attach a picture. The sandwich had ham, capicola, Gruyere, cheddar, cream cheese, Red onion, pickles in something called Cuban sauce pressed on sourdough.
My wife had the goat cheese, cranberry and apple salad. She loved it.
I called one of my sons ( a foodie) who lives in Los Angeles and told him that I had just eaten at a deli that had a laid-back LA vibe.
It is worth the trip to go there if you were anywhere close by. Their menu is very creative. The next time I go there I might check out a grilled cheese sandwich with balsamic onion jam.

Very good Italian sub made to order, (enough for 2 meals), chosen from a large menu of subs, salads, etc. Good location near downtown Tavares w/ regularly scheduled entertainment.

Stopped by The Deli Llama for lunch and had paninis. Both the Cuban and Italian paninis were delicious. Fun, eclectic atmosphere and fantastic service and food. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend going there, you also get a lot of food so we had leftovers. We will be back to try some other items on the menu soon. The Deli Llama beats every sandwich shop in the area hands down.

Two of us stopped in for lunch after seeing a writeup of the restaurant. A quaint, unique space set in a former gas station. Their sandwiches are anything but run of the mill. Unique ingredient combinations that make for a delicious choice. While we were reviewing the menu, the owner came over to see if we had questions and explained how they made the sandwiches and pointed out some unique features. We ordered a couple different ones and split them so we would try multiple choices. Very unique and delicious. I especially enjoyed the Turkey A with avocado and arugula and a nice spread. We will be returning to try other items. There is ample parking and the restaurant is easily accessible--no small feat for one so close to the busy downtown area.

Great location---an old converted has station. Wife and I tried the Jalapeno popper and the A Turkey sandwich and mixed so we could each eat a half of a different sandwich. Incredibly rich and fantastic details. People----they make their own pickles!!!! Yes, that kind of detail.
We also had their nachos (pulled pork and goat cheese which were good, but needed some sauce on the pork.
Highly recommend. Great and engaging service staff.
Next time we will try one of their Charcuterie boards of meat and cheese!
