Worth the visit.

Their tacos are amazing, especially the mushroom taco (except the fish, I’ve had that twice and it wasn’t good). I used to love their poutine, but they have really cut way back on the amount of meat they put in the gravy. The staff are very friendly! They also own the bar, Brü, which is within walking distance and you can have your BTW, food order delivered there or you can order at Brü and BTW will deliver it.

First time visitors. Burgers tacos and waffles, we heard that they were a combination of three food trucks. There was an army of workers and they were extremely happy and attentive. We ordered the bad mutha churgar, they're mac and cheese double burger, and nacho regular tots. My burger was delicious a nacho tots were great... But my wife and I were both unexpected at how spicy the bad mother chicken was. We really honestly were not expecting how hot and spicy the Nashville BBQ was so I ate it later at night with a few drinks and it wasn't too bad. I was disappointed at the selection of soft drinks, as I'm needing diet sodas and they only had one option of some off-brand sodas that were tasteless and flat. They really should think about people who are diabetic and choose which carbs they wish to use on their meals. I would definitely, and we will be back. We just need to find our flavor and our menu items. The location is in Tavares Florida which is right near a tourist c plane landing site, and we were talking and missed a plane coming in. Would have been interesting to see.

I have celiac disease, so when I came here I needed to start by asking questions about gluten free items. The menu has gluten free items marked on it. You can either eat tacos with corn tortillas or have a burger with a gluten free bun. I had a GF burger and it was good. They do ask how you want the burger cooked and mine was dark and a little crispy at medium well, so I suggest just medium or medium rare. The corn and cole slaw are the only GF sides. And the chocolate dessert ball was good. My husband and daughter both had burgers, but theirs were also a little too well done, so again I suggest asking them not to cook them well. Our family had the chocolate chip waffles which were a hit with the kids.

Some friends and I boated over from the villages and stopped here for a late lunch. We were instructed to take a menu, peruse and select items and approach the cashier to take our orders and pay. They have tacos, burgers and waffles along with various sides and fillings on each different item. I ordered the build your own burger and ordered it medium, although they recommended medium well. I like pink center, but this was a bit over done for medium it was very juicy and flavorful,, thick and hard to eat due to the thick size and tomato and onion on a lightly toasted brioche bun. Mayo on the side was good, and the side of tater tots were cooked right . My spouse ordered a half wedge salad and with the blue cheese and tomatoes and balsamic drizzle were flavorful and filling. My friends ordered a chicken and waffle fries buffalo drenched meal, with blue cheese on the side and was more than he could eat. The mani fish taco for our fourth patron was good, but needed some more sauce or sour cream to top it off. Moderate prices kept our lunch budget in check. There are lots of other items we want to come back to and try. The batter dipped Oreo deep fried dessert is one item we need to taste.

This is an interesting place. Sit down, look over the menu and then get up and order at the register. You’ll get a number and your order will be delivered to your table. Cocktails and wine are ordered next door at their lounge, Crafted Concoctions. ( they also own a brewery in the rear of the building). The menu is large and unique (also DELICIOUS). The drinks from next door are among the best around. It’s a fantastic place

Went to btw yesterday with my granddaughter after the splash pad. And must say the staff was very friendly, place was clean. We went around 4:30 ordered the KBQ taco & BARBACOA PORK taco, My granddaughter ordered taco's from the kids menu all I have to say is WOW it was amazing. Drove all the way from Orlando and I would do it again. Thank you guys

Our first time here. My wife had a cheeseburger and I had a couple tacos washed down with a cold beer. The burger was done to order and the tacos overflowed with toppings. To me, all of the food was over seasoned, the flavoring and spices overwhelmed the flavor of the meat. The waffle fries were awesome as was the cookie we shared for desert. For a walk up to the counter to order restaurant, I feel the meal was on the expensive side. The staff was outstanding, attentive, friendly and helpful.

We stopped at the Bru Pub next door and they told us they owned BTW, so we ordered food and they delivered it to our outdoor table at the brewhouse. We both ordered the "Here Piggy Piggy" sandwich and it was GREAT - one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've had! I had waffle fries and my husband had tater tots. I'm sure their other menu items are just as good.

Was in the Tavares area checking out gun stores in the area with a friend from Mass., down here for the winter months. We stopped in downtown Tavares with the idea of having lunch at the Irish Pub. Was not open, only on weekends for lunch. Looked across the street and saw the BTW sign and decided to give them a try. Nice menu, we both ordered burgers, nice fresh thick hand made burgers, cooked perfectly, medium and medium rare. Many sides to choose from , also several options for beer and soft drinks. This restaurant you order and pay for your meal at the main counter, and then they bring food to your table. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Glad we stopped, will definitely try this restaurant again.

Delicious tacos for a decent price

I was totally impressed with this place. My husband and I saw it listed in a magazine and put it on a place we wanted to try, and I wish we would have tried it earlier. I was so happy to see how clean the facility was. They sanitized the menus & tables and had signs on the tables that were fully sanitized. They actually took covid precautions which is important to me! I had THE ‘SHROOM, KBQ, & the WTF tacos and OMG I cannot wait to go back! The ‘SHROOM was my absolute favorite!!! The flavors blended so well. Honestly when I go back, I’m going to get 2 ‘SHROOM tacos and try a new one. Seriously, so good! We’ll be back!

Josie really was the crowning jewel on our first time visiting BTW. She was very pleasant and overall happy. They have an eclectic menu so it’s not your typical burgers and tacos. They also have natural sodas that are tasty. You order at the counter and they bring out your food to you. I had one of their waffle creations and it was very good. I thought the sriracha BBQ sauce was going to be spicy so I asked for it in the side but it wasn’t spicy. The pulled pork was dry. My parents each had a taco (YOLO and gringo) and they both thought the flavor was very good. The meat on the tacos could have been drained a little better. It seemed greasy on the bottom. I tried the pineapple cream soda and it was refreshing. This is a go-to again for us but they don’t open super early in the morning for waffles so you have to think of their sweet waffle creations as either a late breakfast or a dessert. And thank you to Josie for being so sweet and personable.

Way too much m9ney for dry, bland food

My kids ordered burger that were dry and tasteless. They had no seasoning. My husband and I ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken was very very dry. Way to expensive for a place that gives you plastic utensils and tasteless dry food.

New brand of ice tea taste bad

Great place for good food at a fair price. Have had many lunches here over the years and enjoyed them all. The most recent lunch which included a sweet ice tea was great except for the tea. Using a new product that falls far short of the previous used brand was terrible. Please go back to the good stuff.

Taking the scenic route from SW Florida to St Augustine and found this culinary oasis in the lakes region. Super friendly staff, huge portions, and incredibly delicious food. We sampled three tacos (Trailer Park, Barbacoa Pork, and KBQ - which was the surprise favorite), and a Southerner burger. They also have a decent beer selection, and if you're not content with what they have at the counter they invite you to grab a brew a their pub next door. And they're open pretty late (which was a real blessing). Be sure to try the smashed Brussel sprouts.

I’ve tried most of the menu, except the carnivorous dishes, and they are all DELICIOUS! Best part is that you can order on your phone and have it delivered to Brew Tap. Food will arrive at your table with no charge. Brilliant! Gives you time to concentrate on drinking. Ha! I love BTW. Highly recommended!
