About
My husband Jack and I, along with our daughter and son-in-law, welcome you to Rusty Bellies Waterfront Grill. Opened in June of 2005, Rusty Bellies is an achievement of three generations worth of goals spanning some thirty years. We are a family owned and operated establishment. Our family came to Tarpon Springs in the 1970's. My parents, Joe and Sue Reis, began the business by purchasing several boats, including a shrimp boat. Before long they had purchased the boat yard and developed the seafood business. In 1985, Jack and I took over operations, and it wasn't long before Jack began refurbishing boats. In 2002. we launched our shrimp boat, Julie Ann. The Julie Ann produces fresh gulf shrimp

Rusty is one of my favorite restaurants. The atmosphere, food, and serve is always fantastic. A special thank you to Henry, our server for his attentive service. It was a great time as always!

Excellent service with Nicole N as our server. All four of us had great food. Calamari, Fish and Chips, Grouper Sandwich and Grouper Tacos. Will return again.

We came for lunch on a busy holiday Sunday. We didn't have reservations and had to wait a reasonable 20 minutes or so. We gave our cell number and we were called when our table was ready. That process worked very smoothly. Rusty Bellies is...located directly on a narrow inlet and I recommend a table outside on the water. But know two things: (1) There is only a little bit of boat traffic to watch across the narrow waterway and (2) When Rusty Bellies' shrimp boat is docked, the boat blocks 90% of the water views. So - go to Rusty Bellies for something other than the water front ambiance... The menu is long and typical of the genre. I ordered a crab bisque soup and it was above average though I've had better. I added two blacked grouper tacos and those were excellent. Spicy, big enough to make a meal, and very tender. I'd order that again. Parking in this very crowded area of Tarpon Springs looks to be a challenge. We lucked out and found a rare spot in the dirt lot across the street. When covid is gone - I can't imagine where one would park!More

Stopped here this afternoon for the first time but it won’t be our last! Our server, Henry, was great! Very personable and friendly and nice-made us feel right at home! He was also knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive to our needs. Then the...drinks and food arrived and we were blown away! The cocktails were great and the food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back to try more things! Good selection on menu-something for everyone! Everything was very clean, staff was masked up and we felt very comfortable dining here.More

There is good reason why Rusty Bellies Waterfront Grill is the #1 restaurant in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Not only is the food outstanding but the service is the same. The management of Rusty's take special interest in going the extra mile to help and protect...their patrons. Love the fact that this restaurant is at the end of the street that dead ends into the marina and river to the Gulf.More

I’m not sure. There were a couple of older fishing boats docked in the inlet but I don’t know about private boats. I would call them & ask.
