Had dinner with friends at this restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff, excellent filet mignon and an interesting and original appetizer with smoked mushrooms, this can be finished. We enjoyed a lovely happy hour meal at Haven. The valet was $3, super friendly, and made it very easy to enter. We made a reservation for 6pm and sat right away. The two wop tables are spacious and romantic. We had the happy hour...burger, the happy hour cheese board, added some additional cheeses and salami, and the carbonara from the main menu. The cheese was good and flavorful. The boards came with some kind of yummy raisin spread, bread, grapes, and almonds. We also ordered honey comb for an additional fee. The burger and fries were amazing! The carbonara was delicious but a smaller portion. The service was outstanding! The vibe is also great, we will definitely return and recommend it.More

I'm so sorry, I forget to take photos. I couldn't get into Bern's Steakhouse a week before we arrived so they recommended their other restaurant I was disappointed and hesitant but it too was a Michelin Restaurant so I made reservations online. Such a great...surprise!!! It was a lovely time with my family. The staff was wonderful and atmosphere was relaxed and the food was fabulous. My son realized after having the Brussel Sprouts Salad that he loves Brussel Sprouts now. Makes mama happy to see him eating his vegetables and loving them. The Seabass and Scallops were awesome and the presentation was phenomenal. I loved my Steak and the twist on the sauce. The atmosphere was a bit loud but wonderful. Everyone was having such a great time. Valet could use 2 people on as he was very overwhelmed with all the traffic but handled it very well. Enjoyed the very unique menu, but I was just not brave enough to try those menu items. Thank you Haven, you rock!!More

I walked down to Haven because Berns was a 15 group wait for a bar seat. Having just flown in from the UK I was wanting a nice steak. There was no wait for a seat at Haven. My Berns Filet Mignon came in 15...mins. It was pretty average. Portion size was quite small and all the food on the plate was like warm. The steak was ok. Quite disappointed and too tired to complain - so my fault really, as the staff were great and attentive.More

I had the truffled pork rinds and grilled octopus. We shared the roasted olives. My wife had the Happy Hour cheese plate and the Key West Pink Shrimp. My 2 dishes were very good – portion size and flavor. The olives were seasoned with red...peppers – a lot spicier than expected and detracted from the variety of olives in the dish. The cheese was a good value. However, the Key West Pink Shrimp were covered in a brown spicy sauce that masked the flavor of shrimp without adding any interesting flavors. The menu features a huge assortment of cheeses and charcuterie meats. Service was attentive. Outdoor seating is nice, despite traffic noises from Morrison Blvd.More

We sat at the chef table. It was an amazing display of color and flavors. We had many tapas size plates including octopus, tacos, branzino, tongue and so many. Portions are small (except for the steaks) but at the right price.

If I was a connoisseur food snob I am sure I could judge my meal tonight against previous restaurants with similar fare. But alas I am not. We just enjoy the simplicity of good food, good drink and great service. Daniel our server was extremely...knowledgable and very attentive to our dining experience. Best Happy Hour in Tampa! It's has always been my go-to spot. Top notch service, food and atmosphere. The wine selection is amazing as well. Love the patio when its not too hot.

The Haven has a very ambitious menu, so it is hard to rate the food. The charcuterie board has many amazing options and the bourbon list is the most extensive around (from Blanton’s to Pappy). If you want to explore food and drinks tastes that...are not available everywhere, then the Haven is a must stop while in Tampa.More

Met some long time friends while visiting Tampa and went to Haven for dinner. Great restaurant with creative food and beverage options. Started with a charcuterie platter the hav so many cheese options it can be tough to choose. Had an excellent dirty martini to...start. Most everything on the menu is served as small plates and it is great to order several and share. We shared the char grilled octopus, seared red snapper, garlic roasted cod and Brussels sprout salad. Everything was delicious and very flavorful. They have a great wine list by the glass or bottle. We had a couple of glasses of Orin Swift eight years in the desert which was spectacular. Definitely a must if in the Tampa area.More

We have had wagu beef many times, so we ordered a pound of their supposed wagu brisket. It was tough & had GIANT globs of fat, not the normal wagu marbling. Charging $39 per pound for meat that is 1/3 fat is truly larceny! Also,...we love burnt ends which are usually the very well done ends of a smoked brisket or other roast. These supposed burnt ends were tiny short ribs with barely any meat on them! Again, true to the term larceny. The pork ribs were tough on the surface & layered with fat under the surface, so much that it made me gag ! I guess there's no larceny here because they never said that the ribs were not 80% fat! Well, 2 out of three still qualifies it as a larcenous undertaking. My advice is:STAY AWAY unless you like getting ripped off!!!More

Just before the pandemic hit Haven had started to up its game considerably. I'd had a long relationship with the establishment and people dating from the old SideBerns days. I never thought they quite had the swing of things until they started offering Brunch around...the holidays or before (in COVID time seems so difficult to gauge). The brunch was discontinued before the pandemic shutdowns started but the elevation had solidified and (like some other establishments in Tampa) Haven really rose to the occasion with fantastic takeout ideas/themes. I'm taking this opportunity to write about Haven as it exists in our current world. It's really fabulous. As the reopening started I appreciated the caution with which they operated. I always felt far enough away from other guests and servers were always masked (nose and mouth!). The food and beverages have been top notch and I want to call out the Perigord Truffle Raviolo egg yolk, mushroom, fontina, spinach, lots of shaved truffles Wow! I'll let you imagine how all these items beautifully pair. You must go now.More
