First time great, second time awful

I passed by this pizza place on my way back from a movie and decided to try it and it was great pizza. 3 days later I tried it again and it was awful. Same time of day and they decided to put new cheese on top of old slices 🤮 the mix was sour.

So we frequent Anthony’s pizza

So we frequent Anthony’s pizza often and we decided to order delivery as opposed to our usual carry out. We ordered a large half pepperoni with mushroom and half ham and pineapple ( two very common combinations). When we received the order we opened the box and noticed that the pizza was all pepperoni and no ham which should be an easy fix. Any reputable business owner who works in the hospitality field would be glad to offer a replacement for the four slices that were incorrect. However, upon calling and speaking with an associate and the owner they let us know that they are not a franchise and are a small business and can offer us free toppings or a $2.50 credit lol. Not sure if they were planning to put pieces of ham in a to go box or what the case was but unfortunately I have to give one star due to the lack of customer service. We love supporting our small businesses so if you want some good food New York New York pizza on Dale Mabry has a way better selection, better pizza and way better customer service. Sorry Anthony’s but we will no longer support your small business.

We have found our new pizza place!

This is the 2nd time this week we have ordered from here. Our 1st time ever was on Saturday for carry out (ordered supreme and pepperoni) and the 2nd was tonight via delivery (pepperoni). I absolutely LOVE their pepperoni pizza. It has a taste like no other with a little kick that just makes it so good! I don't eat crust off of pizza but I do now! Hands down one of the best I have ever had.

Too bad I could not select 0 stars. I' ve been to places where they were rude, but this person was nasty, rude and unprofessional. The pizza was not even average, the dough uncooked, they sprinkled unrequested hot pepper flakes on top. Very low quality.

Friendly, fast service. Pizza pretty good n worth the stop! I’ a New Yorker and this is the best I have found around town. Prices are reasonable, and always ask for coupons!

If you want a different pizza from the usual Pizza Hut and Papa Johns... this is the place to go. The pizza's are great and quite frankly one of the best taste in Tampa.

New York Style Pizza, Indeed!

My husband and I have been looking for good pizza in Tampa since moving from the northeast 3 1/2 years ago. We've found it at Anthony's New York Style Pizza! We've been there three times now and have never been disappointed. The past two times, we ordered the 28" pizza and WOW! It was so nice having "real" pizza again! The staff / owners are really nice, too. Just all around great folks. We always get takeout, but the inside is really cute and clean if you want to stay onsite and eat your delicious meal.
