Eating here was a highlight to my day trip to Ybor. The cuban sandwich, guava flip, and guava pastry were all very good. I wish I could have ordered more food! I will definitely return next time Im in Tampa.

I agree this was worth the detour. My Cuban sandwich was fresh and tender. I see why people rave about La Segunda. Oops, the carrot cake was tasty too.

Went there because of all the hype and not worth our time. Will never go again. The bread was roasted so much, it rubbed the skin off the roof of my mouth. It’s expensive and I can get a better Cuban at west Tampa sandwich...shop and pay 1/3 less. The shop is disorganized. They let everyone in, people cut the line , claim they called in an order, and then order! No one is counting the amount of people coming in and there’s only one cashier for in-house and phone orders. The guava pastry was hard and did not have enough guava and only a sliver of cheese. The meat pie was sweet and a waste of our money. The only good thing was the spicy chicken sandwich. Parking is horrible and the place is In the hood. Not worth the hype.More

Got a breakfast sandwich with chorizo, egg, Swiss, mustard, and pickles... oh my goodness! Amazing! Bread was perfectly pressed and all the flavors went perfectly. And did I mention it was only $6? Simply put, one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had.

I love this bakery (4 Stars), but on a recent Saturday in January approximately 20 people were in the small bakery that a sign says should be limited to 8 people. The woman at the register taking your order was wearing a mask that was...below her nose and frequently taken off her mouth. No social distancing whatsoever. Love the baked goods, sandwiches, coffee but if you value your health and well-being, think twice on going when it's busy.More

We ordered two capuchinos, guava pastries and cheese pastries. place was full on a saturday morning, being from Miami I noticed working were trying to service as fast as possible but weren't efficient. Is not good in this crazy that you keep a customer that...already has a pert of the order waiting for their coffees, specially when u have to get them from right where the rest of the customers are trying to line up to place their order. our food was good and of course we ate inside the car and made a mess :)...More

Good sandwiches but really busy even with CoVID 😂 messy not good sandwich to eat in car. Don’t get lettuce but the sauce and bread are good! Cuban coffee just ok though. Over all good value and close to downtown or Ybor city!

Just can’t say enough good things about Le Segunda. The Cuban bread is fantastically tasteful, which makes for equally fantastic Cuban sandwiches. Don’t overlook the great pastries, especially the quasohitos.
