Went here because we were craving cuban sandwiches. Well what a disappointment. Staff was not friendly, not rude but not welcoming either. Restaurant looked dingy and unkept, soda machine area had a leak and it was just unappealing Now for the Cuban sandwich not authentic...at all. NO REAL “PERNIL” pork. Sadly, the quality and taste of the food has gone downhill. This used to be my favorite sandwich- lunch spot and loved the pressed turkey sandwich. We ordered sandwiches when my son was here from CA last week and wanted a Cuban. We got two cubans and a pork sandwich. They were all good….bread was nice and crusty and meat was tasty. I ordered online, plus I had to grab and go and eat once I got to where I was going. I ordered 2 large devil crab rolls a 24 oz. fountain drink and the large Cuban sandwich with extra pickles. What I got was a...16 oz. drink, 1 order of the mini devil crab rolls, yes the sandwich was the correct size and yes I paid for all that I ordered, and got ripped off and the heart burn for free. Crazy tourist I know! The oil they cooked the Devil crab in had to be 2 or 3 weeks old and gave the devil crab an old burnt oil favor, just nasty. The sandwich had this mayo/mustard sauce on it which just made for a bad taste (you never put mayo on a Cuban sandwich) and no extra pickles. I ended up throwing away 3/4 of the order.More

This is my 2nd visit to your restaurant Today after 3pm ...cook was Brian I ask him if you sell steak sandwiches ,he told me No. I ask if he knew of any other restaurants near your establishment and he preceded to name a few...restaurants. I ask for menu and it clearly states that you do sell phillycheese steak sandwiches. So I went back in and told him that I wanted to order 2 combo meals steak sandwich w/fries then he said he doesn't make that particular sandwich that often and he forgot that you have that on the menu and its roast beef not steak. Bottom line he made the sandwich and it was Delicious,but I noticed when I got home he forgot my Fries!!!! I also ordered 2orders of 3mini Devil crabs they were Aweful No CRAB MEAT in them and they were Burnt so I won't purchase them ever again.More

I come here specifically to get by breakfast Cubans from Kelly. No one makes them better, she's always quick and never forgets my coffee order. Kelly makes the whole experience of dining at the floridian that much better and keeps me coming back.

We were driving through Tampa on a Sunday afternoon and wanted a Cuban sandwich. Do you know that there are few places open Sunday afternoon with authentic Cubans that are also excellent! Yummy! Not only that but I also fell in love with their mini...deviled crabs. Try it out! Plus, they are just minutes off of I-275 on Kennedy Blvd. An easy stop.More

My wife and I stopped for an early dinner. My niece called and wanted us to pick up sandwiches for her family too. Ours were great as usual. Better than any we have found in Pinellas county.

Not impressed..mainly because of the rude lady at the counter. She should not be in a position where customer service matters. She acted as if we were an inconvenience while ordering (even eye rolling). Then my son asked for a box for the rest of...his Cuban sandwich, she replied “We don’t have boxes” in an irritated manner. Oddly enough, my salad (with wet lettuce, may I add) was served in a plastic box. We weren’t ordering off of a $0.99 menu lady, we spent $50 on lunch, have some common courtesy at least. We saw the owner as we walked out who was very friendly, but should consider staff changes. La Segunda will be our go to for Cuban food. Much better food, cleaner and nice people!More

Terry, the GM, took care of our large group and everyone experienced true Cuban sandwiches. Not the fanciest place we've visited, but no one complained about the food or the service! Really good black bean soup too.

I ordered Cuban Salad. It was fantastic!! Made fresh in front of me with very crisp lettuce and ingredients. I so enjoyed it. Plenty of parking and seating. Clean. Friendly and comfortable. I will return.
