The diner is a true old time diner serving locals breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am not sure when Nicko's first opened , but I first went there maybe 40 years ago. Service is friendly and fast food is good typical diner fare.

I have been to Nickos almost every time I visit Tampa. I love their breakfast and have a good friend who lives near by so we often meet there. This is the first time I have been able to sit in the booth where Elvis set! Large servings but I don't like their biscuits. Get toast instead. Good grits!

Stopped in for lunch at 2:30 PM, place almost empty at that time. The few customers there were eating breakfast, must be pretty good. One guy was putting chocolate syrup all over his pancakes. A small diner type place, about 12 tables plus counter seating. Servers obviously been there awhile. No frills, a really down home place. Been around a... More

Stop by for a great breakfast and, if you're lucky, Nicko stops by with a magic trick! Visiting from Chicago for the 2016 Frozen Four NCAA hockey championship, we stopped here twice. Just plain good food with friendly wait staff.

Just like a diner is supposed to be: booths, a counter, and tiny bathrooms. Don't come here if you want fancy dining. If you want delicious food served by the atypical friendly waitress for little cost, then this is your place! We visited on a rainy day so the chili and sandwiches were perfect. Homemade tarter sauce for the delicious... More

Greasy, cheap, and kind of spectacular. Everyone knows of the "Elvis booth", as most of their advertising mentions it. It's a fun little quirk, and cool to tell people you've sat where Elvis sat, but I think anyone who has been there would still recommend the place without it.

This is a great place for fast dinner food that is good and a very very reasonable price. You will love this place if you like just home cooked with no foo foo fuse and trying to be fancy. The staff is friendly and nice. You must be aware that it is cash only. There is a ATM on site... More

Walking into this place is like a step back 50 years into a home town road side diner. The menu is limited but the food is very tasty and relatively inexpensive. We usually eat breakfast there which is cooked to order. It's worth a trip to check it out.

I've been going to Nicko's since college in the 80s. It's what you expect in a diner, cheap, filling and damned good food. As with any diner, breakfast is the best and Nicko's does it right all day. The rest of the menu is tasty diner fare. Also, Elvis ate there back in 1956. Nick and the staff make you... More
