Has a pub downstairs and restaurant up stairs which looks out onto the Serengeti plains animal enclosure. Decorated like an old colonial hunting lodge. We went for the buffet at $19 for adults and $12 for kids which was nicely done especially the fried chicken, cod and braised pork (but also plenty of nice salad and vegetable dishes) nice staff... Food was very good, however the experience of getting into the park was awful. Unfortunately, you can only go here after getting into the park.

A old style African theme. Recently, they changed the way you explore your buffet items. Instead of a server bringing it to you, you enter through a well displayed room full of good fare. Two notable items was the buttermilk fried chicken and braised pork. The jambalaya was a lackluster looking more like rice pilaf. Our server Donald was good,... More

this restaurant is on the meal plan in busch gardens. It is ok but like school food. Pretty building and a nice place to cool off even if you are not hungry

A very average lunch. My favorite - tuna and fruit salad is gone. I tried the buffet but it was mediocre at best. We won't be back unless they change the menu. Perhaps we will try the downstairs - the menu has wraps but it Is a quick service meal and we enjoyed the full service.

WE opted for the buffet as one of our party is a vegetarian and the buffet offered a good selection of vegetarian food and food that would appeal to the rest of our group as well. At $20 a head we felt it was good value, we enjoyed the buffet which included a dessert although drinks were extra. The dining... More

Extremely wide variety of foods all prepared fresh and to perfection. I recommend the buffet and you can see a lot of the park while dining on the third level

There is a sit down and more fast serve restaurant both located here, and you get some good views of rides and animals. Good kid staple foods available (pizza, chicken tenders, etc), not as many healthy options here. They do have a full bar inside with several beers on tap if you want to enjoy an adult beverage. If you... More

I was so sad when they closed the old Crown Colony but it's back with a new name Serengeti Overlook. I have always loved this restaurant because after a long morning in the sun it's so nice to sit down at a table in the AC and have actual table service instead of standing in line. There have been a... More

Definitely eat upstairs at the end of a long day in Busch Gardens. You won't regret it! And don't let the word "buffet" turn you off - it is kept hot and fresh and with unique food you won't find just anywhere.
