First visit, impressed with the beautiful orchids in full bloom out front. The Asian inspired interior was just as pretty - small but nicely appointed. The Thai spring rolls were very good. The chicken massaman curry was ok, I've had better elsewhere, could use more...sauce. Ordered a sauteed mixed veggies entrée, came with a "thin" soy-based sauce - not as expected, didn't care for it. We visit this restaurant frequently for dinner as enthusiasts of Thai food and consistent quality, two things this restaurant has delivered for a long time. A few days ago, our experience was vastly different. They were a bit crowded but nothing that should have caused...a drastic change in experience. Both of us ordered dishes we have ordered there before many times, Prig Khing Tofu and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Both dishes on this visit were extremely salty (not spicy, I know the difference). I couldn't eat mine. I called over the server and told her it was way too salty. She said "oh, you don't like spice?". I told her I do like spicy food, just not excessively salty. She did not seem to know the difference. She offered to bring me something else. I ordered Pad Thai. I could not tell if it too was excessively salty or if my taste buds were kind of ruined for the evening from the first dish. I just sort of picked at it. The server abruptly removed the uneaten dish and tossed the check in front of me with no thank you or apology or explanation. We patronize Jasmine often enough that most of the staff including our server know our faces and our order preferences. I felt a bit underappreciated. We'll probably go back again after a bit of a break. Hopefully this is not a trend.More

Our family visited Jasmine Thai Restaurant and enjoyed a fantastic experience. The children loved the Chicken Satay with peanut sauce and white rice. The Steamed Dumplings were enjoyed by all. We shared the Pad Thai Noodles and Spicy Panang Curry with Chicken. Both dishes were...rich with flavor and seasoned to perfection. The service was friendly, efficient and very helpful throughout our experience. The restaurant was very clean and tidy throughout. We will definitely return soon!More

Went to Jasmine Thai Restaurant for dinner and I must say we had a great time with wonderful food! Everything tasted delicious and the presentation was amazing! I will definitely come again.

We were in the neighborhood and Googled for a Thai restaurant. Service was great. Food was very good. We would return.

I been with my family as thai food was favorite for my kids. The guy was so restless as i was checking with my kids what they wanted to have. Also the food quantity was very limited and its expensive. the person who served us...was so restless in taking the order they hardly 5-6 people in whole restaurant during my visit. My kids didn't had food at all and we need go out and took for them from near by Mc Donalds.More

We used to go to Jasmine Thai in the 90’s and loved it, and since we were in the area, we decided to have dinner. There was only one other couple there, but the male waiter acted like he was swamped. The first plates he...set on our table were dirty. The water tasted bad. We ordered Panang chicken which usually is served with sauce and a variety of vegetables. It came with chicken, zucchini and green peppers only. The chicken had a bad flavor. The portion was small. The sauce had hardly any coconut milk. I usually am not picky nor do I ever leave bad reviews, but it was that bad. I will never go back.More

I was going to this restaurant for many years, it was my favorite lunch place. Like the decor, service is ok, not great. The quality of food is not the same, portions got skimpier, less veggies on a side. Maybe this has to do with...produce and labor costs going up? Although I love Thai food, I do not think i'll be back.More

Tried this restaurant on a recommendation. This evening we were a party of seven & of seven dinners, only one had some flavor, (but not served as ordered), and all the other plates were tasteless. The server who we believed was the owner was overly...pushy on add ons. The only way I recommend this restaurant is if all the other Thai restaurants in Tampa were to close, & then I might select frozen food first.More

This place has been around forever and there's a reason: it's wonderful! The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is friendly. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Despite being in a strip mall, you feel transported away when you enter. I love everything about...this place!More
