A friend and I had Sunday brunch at Jackson’s and was pleasantly surprised by the attentive and outstanding service we received today by their employee, Mr. Corey Scanlon. Our food was absolutely delicious and it was so refreshing to be taken care of by this...outstanding young man. Thank you Corey, we will surely be returning to Jackson’s for their food and your professional and excellent service.More

My friends and I really felt comfortable dining at Jackson's during COVID. I have enjoyed their lunch service three times in the past two weeks and each time the staff is handling the COVID protocol just right. The service has been really comfortable and friendly....The food has been excellent. We all are striving to enjoy life with some moments of "normalcy" and Jackson's provided this each time. Brandy, Scott, and Rodrigo were all fantastic severs. They were professional and attentive. It feels so good to get served by staff that truly seem as if they enjoy their job and are thankful to be back to work. The kitchen staff really puts out some great food. The blackened salmon salad, the lobster tacos (with a very nice portion of lobster meat!), the poke bowl, and the grilled vegetable platter were some of our favorites. You can't beat the views from Jackson's Bistro sitting outside (which is the only way we will dine right now as COVID is still a challenge).More

Service was excellent in the restaurant...not the bar. Food is not very good. First we walked up to the bar to have cocktails before dinner. One bartender was leaning on the bar talking to some guests. He turned around and looked at us and then...went back to his conversation. We ended up going next door to American Social to have drinks. Then we ate dinner at Jackson's. It was nothing like we remembered from the past. The food used to be excellent. My husband's dish was boring and not mention-worthy. I had to send my first dish back because it was so bad and chose another option which was equally as bad. I didn't complain but I won't be eating there again.More

Awful Caesar salad in terms of quality, quantity and presentation. Moreover, the salad was ordered without croutons. This request was ignored. An overall much disappointing experience.

Other than the lovely hostess and waitress, this was the worst experience I think I have had at a restaurant. Was supposed to be a celebration of my daughter moving into UT the next day, utter disappointment. We ordered appetizers - oysters, suno muno salad...and lump crab meat cocktail. The crab meat tasted like it was canned, very dry and doused in so much horseradish dressing there was no crab flavor at all. Oysters were good, suno muno mediocre. We had ordered appetizers first, then waited a while before ordering main courses as we were not in a rush. Even so, our main courses showed up halfway though us eating our appetizers. Horrible timing and the mains were cooling off while we tried to rush though our appetizers. Felt like we were at McDonalds fast food. Mains - Grouper & Crab Stack menu description.. “Grouper topped with Jumbo LUMP Crab Meat”. No way, the Grouper was dry and over cooked on the ends with a crab mush with a paste like consistency on top, not a LUMP in sight. Pan-Seared Snapper & Scallops – Scallops excellent, Snapper over cooked, dry and did not look pan seared at all. The rib-eye ordered medium rare, came out grey and well done. Sent it back and it was re-cooked, came back out well done on the ends and very slightly pink in the center, definitely not medium rare more like medium well. Sent it back and ordered sushi instead as it was obvious the steak was not going to be right. At this point my husband and I have finished eating and my daughter had still to get her main course. After changing her order, the real cherry on the cake was the Manager Mike, arrogant New Yorker with an attitude. He comes charging outside with the steak in hand, intent on intimidating my daughter. He comes right up next to her and standing over her, having cut into the center of the steak and pushing the plate in front of her, to tell her “I wanted to show you how we cook a medium rare steak here, and this is it”. Forget, the customer is always right or an apology for such a horrible meal, or sorry you have been inconvenienced. I pointed to the obvious grey steak piece right next to it and he say “we only cook to the center being medium rare not the whole steak, and this is medium rare, this is how we cook it here”. He was basically challenging her and saying she did not know what she was talking about. Well I got news for angry Mike, we aren’t from po-dunk nowhere, and my kid has eaten more than her fair share of perfectly cook medium rare steaks, and this was not one of them. And I have never heard there is a medium-rare steak and something called a Jackson’s medium-rare. He said you need to order something else and strutted off sulking when we told him we already had. I think Jackson’s is crazy to hire this guy, I know they are popular, but this guy is hurting your business. Who comes out to argue with a customer over the temperature of a steak? The sushi came and, although it is in the name of the restaurant, not good, my daughter left half of it. We skipped desert and yes when the bill came, we got the pleasure of paying full price for this disaster, no discount on her meal, no offer of a free dessert, nothing. As for the Covid extra cleaning they gave us disposable menus with reusable sushi menus, defeats the purpose and the table cleaning was a couple of swipes with an already used cloth. Will not be back, that is for sure.More

We had our first experience with Jackson's last night. The food was amazing, with good quantity for what was ordered and the quality was amazing as well. Our server was no less amazing. If you have the opportunity to get Mason, your in for a...treat, he was patient, knowledgeable and on point at each request. Thank you Jacksons for helping make our friends Birthday a special one.More

My daughter's delayed graduation ceremony took place Tuesday night and the unanimous choice for where to celebrate after was Jackson's. They were only to be open till 10PM and since we were arriving at 9:45 we weren't even sure they'd be willing to seat us....They did and then our server Dominick took great care of us for the rest of the evening. There were eight at the table and when additional help was needed other servers joined in to make sure everything went smoothly. We had a great assortment of entrees on the table: steak, seafood, pasta, burger. All were enjoyed by those who ordered them. Drinks were refilled and just the right amount of checking in was given. Even though it was late and things were closing down, the dessert menu was offered and we enjoyed creme brulee, chocolate cake and peanut butter torte. It was late enough in the evening that it was comfortable outside and we were happy to be seated there. There are other, pricier options downtown but if you are looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, especially with a group, Jackson's is hard to beat. Thanks for being the perfect ending to our special event.More

Happy hour after a boat ride was a blast! Huge martinis and fantastic prices. Even a large food menu. Had oysters, but want to try the sushi. Great view, tons of bar and seating options. Live music.

Definitely for dinner or large groups. If it is only one or two people it is possible to eat in the bar areas without much trouble.

I did not notice a separate room for that type of function. Guess you could rent the entire space?
