Four of us ate at Bella's in mid-August. The restaurant is typically very busy, because the food is so fresh. Even though the place was "hopping" we were seated within ten minutes. The food and wine selection is excellent. The dishes are delicious. Situated in South Tampa on Howard Avenue, the restaurant is close to Bayshore Boulevard and downtown Tampa... More

Pricey but worth it. The pasta served up called the polo milano and one of the best I've every had was complimented by a delicious chopped salad and freshly baked bread.

There are four of us who go out to dinner every month and also treat the "birthday girl" to dinner. My choices have been the Colonnade which is now closed and Bella's. They make their own pasta and bread. The Eggplant Parmesan is to die for as well as the pasta Bolognese with Angel Hair. One of us always takes... More

My husband ordered two different dinners. He had a pasta with beef and cream sauce and the beef was burnt. I ordered veal with mushroom cream sauce. I was so over cooked that I couldn't eat it so they brought me another one and it was raw and had this stringy fibers in it. TERRIBLE! The dinner salad was good.... More

This is one of 2 of the best Italian restaurants in Tampa. Home made pastas, great salads and mains . They do a most interesting carry out service. A couple of reserved spots, this is Avery crowded parking lot, and after you place your order they just for make of car and color! Usually in under 20 min so if... More

Looking for dinner on a Sunday evening and a friend suggested Bellas. Parking was at a premium and inside was on a 35 min. wait. No worries, had a cocktail. Great big menu of familiar Italian specialties. Portions are huge. Our entrees (Everything Calzone and Eggplant Parm) were both excellent! Finished with Tiramisu and Gelato. Great meal and out for... We were there on a Friday at 6 p.m. This was our first time. The place was very loud, people had to raise their voice to be heard at all the tables around us, including the waitstaff. My eggplant parmigiana was under cooked, and the pasta was mushy, not "al dente". I asked my 3 guests what they thought of... More

I stayed at the Epicurean for a birthday weekend. On my way to hotel, I saw Bella's and since it was within walking distance it would be a good option for dinner. Went on a Friday night around 7pm and got a table with no wait. Its a loud restaurant, has open kitchen and the décor feels Italian...loved the chandeliers!!... More

We enjoyed our dinner at Bella's so much that we returned the following evening. Our second dinner was even better than the first because we went with our waiter, Jay's suggestions. He suggested a nice glass of pinot noir to enjoy with the appetizer and a very nice chardonnay to accompany my meal. I had a dish called Pear Sachet... More

Pleasing appearance with flower boxes, a patio and striped awnings. On a well-known Tampa foodie-street, the restaurant is a short walk from the bay (but has no view). Once inside, the decor is respectable but somber. I was pleased to hear the receptionist ask if we liked the seat she was going to allocate - far more welcoming than "sit... More
