The restaurant is beautiful inside, and the service was very good, but the quality and taste of the food doesn't come close to justifying the price. The Palomilla, which came highly recommended by our server, had the consistency of wet cardboard but with less flavor....More

We love dining in the bar area. The tables are just the right size and the bar hasn't changed in the 40 plus years that I have enjoyed this historical part of Tampa. Service is spot on and the 1905 salad is a must. On...More

When you step inside and see the dining rooms you'll know you have arrived at someplace special that would do well on the 1st floor of any fine hotel in Chicago or NY. The Calamari was incredibly tender, perfectly fried and I opted for a...More

We regularly visit the Columbia to celebrate important occasions. Every time we've gone, the service has been impeccable. The decor is in the old Spanish style, which makes it very classy. The food is delicious - I've never had a dish that I didn't like....More

Haven’t been for a few years and we had some friends that wanted to go for a first time. I called a week early and was able to get a table for “dinner and a show”. If you have never been I really recommend this....More

This place is such a Tampa icon. The atmosphere and architecture are amazing and the food is spectacular. Top picks include the black bean cakes, breaded eggplant and the sangria.

It's hard to improve on a place like the Columbia Restaurant in the Ybor City section of Tampa. Columbia boasts that it is now the largest Spanish restaurant in the world, a real success story from it's humble beginning in 1905. Make no mistake, this...More

Information is on our website for flamenco dance show times at the Columbia in Tampa's historic Ybor City. We offers shows every night except Sunday. It depends on the day of the week, and the time of the year for show times.

We do have a kids menu, you can find it on our website. Trip Advisor rules don't allow me to post a link to our website, but you can find it at Columbia Restaurant and add the usual dot and then the com ending.

Open 365-days a year, including all holidays. Serving lunch & dinner daily. Reservations accepted. In addition to award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine, the Columbia features flamenco dance performances nightly, Monday - Saturday. The Hernandez Gonzmart family has been making restaurant history since 1905 when they opened their landmark Columbia Restaurant, which today is Florida's Oldest RestaurantSM. Today, 4th & 5th generation family members work hard to preserve the family's legacy that their great-grandfather Casimiro Hernandez, Sr. created over 113 years ago when he opened the Columbia as a corner café frequented by local cigar workers. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. Our guests enjoy many of the same century-old family recipes that have made the Columbia famous like Paella "a la Valenciana," Snapper "Alicante," and the Original Cuban Sandwich. Don't miss Columbia's Original "1905" Salad(R), prepared tableside.
