When we are in a city that has a Roy's, we always consider it a treat. Our first experience with Roy's was in Hawaii many decades ago and it has never let us down. Excellent service started at the moment we walked in. We started with a grilled salad that was even better than what we make at home -... More

Went here with work colleagues and had an excellent meal. Prices are on the high side but they have a special prix fix that is very good price. I had the tuna and it was excellent. Colleague had pork chop & it looked fantastic.

I love the restaurant in every place I've been! And this one didn't disappoint. We brought a friend who had never been to one of their locations and he was just as happy as we were! Food and service were amazing. The Trio is my fave! And don't forget the Pineapple upside down and chocolate lava cakes! To die for!

Pros: 1- Near by other nice restaurants Cons: 1- Not what we were expecting at all. We didn't feel emerged in the Hawaiian culture 2- The food was average, rice was soupy. Definitely not worth Its cost.

My wife and I dined here this past weekend. Our server, Michael, was outstanding. The food was amazing. We had some cocktails/ wine, the drunken mule was the best that I've ever had. We ordered sushi, which was fresh and delicious. For dinner I ordered the tuna and my wife had surf and turf, in this case the mahi and... More

Looking for a great little happy hour stop? This one was priced right and the food was great. We has the sushi rolls and ribs that were some of the tastiest in the region. Loved the Fire Rock Pale Ale from Kona Brewing in Hawaii and the Mojito was made perfectly. The atmosphere was nice and cozy and the staff... More

My wife and I had a 7 pm dinner reservation and arrived at the restaurant just a minute or two before 7. When we went to the hostess she informed us there would be a 40 minute wait. After I expressed by complete dissatisfaction with that, we were told to have a seat and the manager appeared. He apologized and... More

We've been coming to this Roy's for more than 10 years and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious, with an abundance of unique dishes to choose from. The Hawaiian misoyaki butterfish is the best fish that my wife and I have ever had: tasty, sweet, moist, with a terrific sauce. The Szechuan ribs are my favorite appetizer, while... More

Very similar menu to the Hawaii original - serving local fish and seafood. Great location near Westshore, close to TPA. We shared the Appetizer boat, with a sampling of various appetizers - all very tasty. For the main course we had the Ahi tuna - served with white rice and a killer mustard sauce. The tuna was excellent, perfectly prepared.... More

My wife and I got married in Hawaii so every year on our anniversary we go to Roy's for our anniversary. We also go to Roy's for occasional birthdays, happy hour or any other non-occasion. The staff is always knowledgeable, friendly and highly professional. The food is outstanding. We were there this last weekend and I had the Ahi tuna... More
