Lobster rolls were $28.00 a piece. We’re not good and lite on the lobster. Four adults and a baby and a toddler ate for $150 without alcohol. Everything was overcooked and Childs grilled cheese was burnt. Not going back!!More

Friends enjoyed the Shrimp and Fish Taco. Excellent flavor. Highly recommend. Dessert was ice cream and so good.
It was terrible and the onion rings were cold and the coleslaw was invisible and I pay $25 for what?? I won’t go back again ever
Since I have moved from Boston a million years ago, I have looked for fried whole belly clams… everywhere, including Florida. When my wife found this restaurant online when planning a recent trip to Tampa, she found the clams on the menu. Well, we tried...it out and they were great! I was thrilled. And secondly, their fries were also great. My wife got a fried haddock sandwich and loved it, too! Absolutely loved the place. Great little locale, super nice people working there. 5 stars.More
The draw here is ballast point and a nice stroll south along Bayshore. But this place is just perfect. Good spacious outdoor seating . Good service. Really a "clam shack" right her in Florida. I had the clam strips which were very substantial portions. reasonable...prices. good place to go with kids to play on the playground walk on the dock and then a bite to eatMore
My husband and grandkids(8 & 4) decided to have lunch there because it has outdoor seating and by the water. We are glad we did. The food was wonderful. I had the Crabcake Sliders, my husband had the Shrimp Basket and the kids had the...Fish an Chips kids meal. Everyone of us loved our meals. There was plenty of food to share. The kids loved the scoop of ice cream that came with their meal. The staff was friendly and attentive. The sunny and 70degree weather made the experience perfect.More
This is about the only place in the Tampa area where you can get real, whole belly fried Ipswich clams. What a welcome surprise! There are other items on the menu but I can't resist the clams. This reminds me of an authentic New England...clam shack, located in the Ballast Point Park with a beautiful view of Tampa Bay. It is no frills, very basic, with inside and outdoor dining. For dessert they have a good selection of great ice cream.More
It was a beautiful day to take the grandkids to the Park. They loved playing and walking the pier. We decided to top the visit with lunch. The kids had a hot dog, chicken tenders and fries with no complaints. My husband had A Gator...bite basket (grandkids loved the taste, even the finicky one). I had fish tacos with were very tasty. Topped off with a little ice cream for the kids. Everyone left with smiles. Staff was very attentive. Beautiful view, perfect temperature (70 degrees), nice and relaxing.More
I stopped here with a friend on a Tuesday around 11:30am. The thick fog over the bay gave it an eerie view, but an hour later the fog had lifted. We sat outside under their covered patio. We enjoyed a delicious, spicy philly cheesesteak wrap,...sweet potato fries, a plate of mini-Maryland crab cakes and a bowl of clam chowder. The chowder was nice and thick. The crab cakes were fine, but they were not served with any aioli or other sauce. Our bill came to $25 before tip.More
I just experienced the worst experience I have ever had at any business. My son(3) and I stopped in to have a quick snack for him after playing at the park. I proceeded to order my meal from one of the employees at the counter...who clearly wasnt happy being a waiter. After ordering my food paying an incorrect price, $3 over menu price, we proceed to sit down in an outside patio area to wait for his food. Our food is brought out in a To Go box as requested due to having a 3 year old who cant decide when it's time to eat. As the waiter comes out I casually ask why my food was $3 over menu price. He begrudgingly attempts to explain that my sons juice did not count as the drink that came with his meal. Ok great. Then where is my drink that came with his meal then? I ask. The server (same lovely gentleman that took my order) says you got the juice. To which I reply you just told me that was a seperate purchase, so again where is my sons drink that came with his meal. The server proceeds to raise his voice while doing the hand gesture that we all know while the head bobs back and forth and ask me well what do you want a free drink? I said no I asked bout the drink I PAID FOR(that I dont need or want being he already had the apple juice I got separately). He storms off. Next thing out comes the owner or manager or whatever he was with a plate. He proceeds to tell me that I can not eat out of the box that he served me in but I must eat off this plate and he would empty my food onto the plate and take my box and throw it out. To which I reply "No. You will not touch my food and I will place what my son will eat on the plate and put my box of the remains back in the bag you served my box in." I then ask oh and by the way where is my drink(I am now getting annoyed). He proceeds to explain how the servers make there money off each table etc....I've been through 8 years of college and grad school, I dont need an explanation on how a server makes a living. So I reply "if your server needs a couple bucks no problem...that's when the server pops his head back out and responds "I dont need your money" to which I reply "apparently you do" so I box my food and leave. I was a long time customer of this restaurant, never again will I or anyone I know step foot inside again. ALL of this happened in front of my 3 year old...this is a great customer experience for a restaurant that's located inside of a Park. I hope this experience never happends to anyone, I have never been spoken to or treated this poorly in my life.More
We come here often because it's hard to match the atmosphere. ToB has snagged the rights to run a restaurant at the base of the fishing pier in a public park - Ballast Point. Whether you sit inside or out, the views are spectacular. You...can see the Tampa skyline off to the left, and a beautiful tropical Bay off to the right. The food is good. They have ice cream. The bathrooms are outside and open to any park user. They used to have a more specialized menu. The lobster rolls were the best south of the Mason Dixon Line. Not so any more. Now the food is good, but not excellent. Those aforementioned rolls are now just lobster salad rather than fresh lobster chunks for example they used to offer. Yet you can't beat the view. We keep coming back.More
My family stopped here while we were out boating. I had the the Cuban and fries, my hubby had the seafood bowl, son had the quesadilla and the grandkids had fish and chips and grilled cheese. We also had ice cream. All of us loved...our choices and will definitely be back for more.More
Mahi-mahi bites were delicious, great portions. Service was fast and on time, friendly and nice. My wife whole snapper was fried to perfection. We will definitely return. Will tell my friends about this place.👍👍
Found this place on the internet and decided to give it a try. This is a small place located in a park on Hillsborough Bay. This is real New England seafood! Ipswich whole belly fried clams, sea scallops, calamari, etc. Prices were very reasonable. Can’t...wait to go back!More
Hadnt been to BC in years, everything all but the sodas have downsized. The first thing I noticed was the corbread was 1/2 the size. The same with everything else, so now they charge you more. No wonder the place is mo add tly empty.
