Stoped for lunch at Shrimp and Co. a little corner joint not much on ambiance but amazing food. Faith was are server and she could not have been more friendly. We started with some clams which were kicking !! White wine butter and garlic steamed with a nice touch of heat o. The finish. Outstanding!! I had blackened grouper which was so fresh I think they must have just caught it. Side salad and the shrimp coleslaw which was outstanding. My wife had a house salad with blackened shrimp. Shrimp were perfectly blackened and super fresh. Loved this place and would definitely recommend it if you are in the area.

Was greeted by one server that it would be 20 minutes wait, a second seated us within a few minutes. Took our drink orders then food orders. 2 beers took at least 10 minutes. Food took 30. We did have a large group. We didn’t see a server until our food came.
Food was delicious and plentiful which it should for the prices.
To summarize don’t expect good service but food is great!

First - hats off to our server. Never got his name but he was the only one working from of the house and did he hustle!! The food is excellent - the crab dip, blackened grouper, fried grouper, shrimp, shrimp slaw.... that's all we tried this trip but definitely returning!

Great place, very tasty food - freshly cooked and highly recommended! The grilled shrimps were great, as was my daughter's burger! We also had a Caesar salad with the meal, which was great with homemade dressing
The evening before we were at Columbia across the street, but we liked it better here

Driving through Ybor saw this cute place across the street from the Columbia. A perfect place for lunch. Lots of fresh fish right from the gulf. I had the shrimp basket and the potatoes with Parmesan cheese were excellent but so were my daughters fries. I love the shrimp coleslaw. So unique and delicious. Service friendly and quick by Cody. Highly recommend this place!

Left the Tampa aquarium in the pouring rain and wandered north, looking for a lunch spot. Discovered this gem and loved it. We both had the shrimp basket. Perfectly breaded (lightly) and cooked. Nice cheery kitschy atmosphere. Will return on our next trip to the Tampa area.

Great service. Delicious food and cool ambiance. Spending the week end in Tampa decided to stop prior to going to hotel. This place is a gem. If you love seafood this is the place.

This place is a must-go! Food is delicious and the waitress Natalia was absolutely nice and attentive. We loved it. My friends will go back soon and I will come back when I am back in Tampa area. Thanks for the super food and thanks Natalia for the great service.

Excellent food and service! The server (I wish I remembered her name) was attentive, and the service was quick and painless. The prices were reasonable when you figured out the cost of fish these days.

Leslie & me have made it for 10 years & still working on keeping it together, no matter where her employment sends us....(for now).
She was working (24 hrs) on the day of the Gaspirella Parade & believe it or not -
"the krewes of pirates" had a night parade for my birthday & our anniversary!
Before the parade we dined at the Shrimp & Company - It was a 3rd choice, but they had a Louisiana Steam Pot, (crawfish, shrimp, andouille, corn, potato boil), seasoned from 1-10 -- I seasoned at 10! (not all that spicy). I also had 2 Modelo, Negro's, finished 1 outside w/smoke! It was another First Crawfish Boil 2023.
The mudbugs were small, but it's early season & we're in Florida, not Louisiana.
MHSW (my hot sexy wife) ordered the fried Gulf Shrimp and she said the batter was light & crispy "Perfect".
We had an hour before the 7th Street parade, 2/11/23, we played at the corner of 7th & 14th.
Keep partying, till the next party, #11 anniversary is next year!

We went here last minute and were happy with our meals. My only suggestion is a new kind of bread. It was soggy and not fresh. But everything else was great.

This was a good place for a quick meal. Everything is fried though. The burger was ok that one of us got and the fries grouper and crawfish were really good but again if you like fries this is the place for you

Very casual. Excellent shrimp and pasta. Lobster was a little dry, but had excellent flavor. Best hush puppies we’ve ever had in a restaurant. Beer and wine only. Service was amazing.

This is not a fancy restaurant but it is a great place to get great shrimp. I rarely get my shrimp fried except here. The batter they use is light and so flavorful. You can get it served either in a basket which comes with fries or red potatoes and a small serving of slaw and some hush puppies or a platter which is the same but larger portions. They also have clams which my husband got as an appetizer. The broth they come served it was delicious.

visiting from Kansas City and en route from Tampa to Orlando. just a few blocks off of the highway.
great food and service. definitely not a chain restaurant. The Gulf Shrimp Caribbean Mojo was excellent as well as the shrimp slaw.
definitely on our list to visit again.
