Food and service poor. Rude Waite staff. Felt rushed. Trust me on this. Do not go here. Very pricey not worth it.

Thoroughly enjoyed the $5 Martinis tonight, and they do not hold back on the alcohol. The food is always great and everything is made in house. Would recommend for happy hour and ladies night

Let me just say that I loved Carmel Cafe so it was only right to suggest it to my friends who were visiting from out of town. Boy was I disappointed and embarrassed. The food portions have shrunk and the options that i love (brussel sprouts with bacon, fingerling potatoes and mac and cheese) were no longer available. The Sangria... More

Our server was not the friendliest person. She took our wine glasses off of the table before we even ordered our drinks. I even asked if there was some reason we couldn't have wine at lunch? Her reply was "only if you're buying a bottle". Maybe I didn't look like I could afford the $30 bottle of wine I did... More

Food was ok, but there were six of us at the Carrollwood Carmel. Did the prix fixe menu on a Sunday evening. One person got his hot appetizer and salad served and no one else received anything until 20 minutes later when the entrees were served. We turned them back stating that we had not received our appetizers yet. Another... More

We've all eaten at the Carmel before. We were excited about the Sunday evening meal as good food and conversation with friends is always a treat. Our food was, as usual, good and our server attentive and personable. Since our last visit, Carmel has instituted a Three Course meal special of which we all took advantage, ordering off an established... More

We had dinner at Carmel's tonight. Natalie was our server. She was very attentive. We tried several wines while we enjoyed salad and dinner. I had the Lamb chops, and my spouse had Steak Friitz. Delicious!

4 of us went to Carmel on a Friday night on a whim and we are hooked! Great shareables to start with fantastic wine deals until 7pm and my son's burger was delish! It was very busy but service was decent and you could always hear the table's conversation. HIghly recommend for an evening meal with family or friends!

A friend and I came here on a Friday evening and it wasn't too busy, so we were sat at a nice booth quickly. Our server greeted us and explained the iPad ordering process. We both ordered their happy hour wine which was $5 for a 9oz glass. Great deal. They also had $6 apps for happy hour so she... More

I would never have guessed that the door next to Chuck E Cheese was a sophisticated restaurant. Our party had dishes including salmon, short ribs and red snapper. All were well prepared, There are ample wine selections. and prices are quite reasonable. Service was outstanding, and the four of us were all impressed.
