Nine of us went to downtown Tampa for a tour of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and ate brunch first in this restaurant. We had a reservation with a table waiting, I split a huge omelet with my husband - spinach, tomato and cheese. It came with your choice of side and toast so I chose home fries. I also had a hot, fresh blueberry muffin. Many others in the group raved about their choices - except for the size of the omelet I thought it was pretty average. Sizable portions of fresh fruit were served in Ball jars, which was unique. I had my personal coffee carafe as well as others. We had flavored creams, which is a big plus for me! Oh, and the butter pats were room temp, not ice cold, so you could spread it easily on muffins or toast! Our server was very accommodating and friendly and we were thanked for visiting before leaving.

We ventured out from the mundane hotel breakfast and stumbled across this lil gem. The reviews were good enough to peak our interest so we tried it. The french toast was delicious and the omlets were as described, large! The portions are somewhat huge so take a good appetite. Friendly wait staff. We arrived well after the morning rush so we were able to sit and enjoy the quiet while we dined before the lunch crowd started to pile in.

Ate here for breakfast twice in a couple days. Went with the special Western Crepes and Home Fries on first visit, very good. The second time I got the corned beef and swiss omelette, which was very unique and had never had anything like that. It came with options(home fries, hash browns, etc) and wheat toast that was buttered perfectly. A homeless person did wander in the second visit but he was asked to leave quickly. great service and everyone is very polite/welcoming. They were playing 80's music from the TV and it was relaxing and refreshing. Will definitely return when in Downtown Tampa again

I ate here today with my family and I must admit, it was just average at best. I’m sure there are several great options, but I do not recommend this place. The food lacked seasonings and just tasted subpar to me. The waiters were packaging the silverware with their bare hands as well (saw right before it time to leave) and I could’ve vomited especially during COVID-19 season.

Decided to stop on by before our flight out since it was open for breakfast and it had 4-1/2 stars on TA. Well, this is one of the few times TA has failed me on ratings (out of hundreds of times, so not upset). First, they don't seem super concerned about COVID, let alone cleanliness. It just seemed kind of dirty. I'm not a big germ-a-phobe, but I also don't want to get a food borne illness. Second, our server was absolutely garbage. The other two servers on the patio area seemed to have it a little more together. Our server was unresponsive and didn't seem to care, except when the check came. She had a sweatshirt with something like Lazy Life on the back, should have known she was going to not be good. The food is decent for diner/greasy spoon food, nothing special. I went with my usual ham and eggs and my girlfriend went with an omelette. She asked for no cheese since she is lactose intolerant. When she got her omelette it had cheese. She started to eat it since cheese doesn't hurt her as bad as milk. About a 1/4 way into it, she stopped. She informed me it was super fluffy, so they likely used milk in making it. How it was responding to her stomach, they likely used whole milk, which wreaks havoc on her. Luckily she doesn't have some type of anaphylactic response to milk. Will I be back? Nope, this place barely got the 2 stars with its decent ham and eggs. Everything else was just so bad. Not impressed with this 4 star ranked place. Go to Daily Eats 2.6 miles away. Ate there when we arrived and their breakfast, service, and cleanliness were a 1,000x better!

Went with our family of 4 (wife and I with two young adult sons) on a busy Sunday morning and then had such a good experience we returned on MLK Day for breakfast. The egg dishes were all terrific - some of the best eggs benedict I've had (the canadian bacon they use is excellent), great omlettes, outstanding home fries, and the quiche was great and came with a very nice fruit bowl. We also had strawberry smoothies and they were really really really good. The pancakes were good, but the egg dishes were better. Service was very quick, so we were in and out in about 45 minutes both mornings, but we weren't rushed. They just were very attentive and everything was prepared quickly. Service, as noted, was very attentive and very friendly. Highly recommend!

very poor service. To me, when a waiter makes a mistake and forgets to print your order, while upsetting, I would not count it as bad service. what counts is how the restaurant deals with that. And this one was seriously handling that in a way you can see they could care less about their customers. 1. After over half an hour wait, we asked the waiter what about our breakfast. she said she’d check. A moment later I saw her go to her computer (where she probably realized her mistake and ran to print our order). To us she just told we are almost next in line. That was weird because the family that ordered with us finished their breakfast already. I’d expect her to admit her mistake but not only she didn't’, it seemed that they didn’t even bother to speed up our order. after over 45 minutes while 2 more tables got their order after 10 minutes wait, I asked to see the manage. who simply brushed me off. almost an hour past till we got our food. This is when the manager finally bothered to come, with the cook to serve us. I stressed how I’m upset with the service only to hear first that there was a big group before me and that they got my order only 15 minutes ago. I’ve explained how long I was waiting and that this is concerning but they were only full of excuse. 2. my sunny side up (which I ordered well done after confirming it’s possible) came really undercooked (white still liquid) I was really pissed off at this point. I’ve told them it’s not how I ordered but that I’m so hungry at this point I can’t just wait again for them to fix it. 3. Needless to say I wasn’t compensated in any way. Thats when I have decided it’s worth my time writing this review. so others will be aware of this place. To sum it up, poor service, bad food. doesn’t worth your time.

Mom and pop feel but great service and food. French owner has a few French dishes that are excellent. Fresh and very tasty. My husband is in the food industry and he mentioned they use high end ingredients without the high end price. Had some baked goods as well and brought some home. We will definitely come back next time we are in town.

It’s breakfast. My spinach omelette was made with fresh spinach and tomatoes. Cooked perfectly. Although they forgot the mushrooms I requested. I do not recommend the grits. I’m a southern grit eating gal and these were not of a southern consistency more watery than I like. My daughter enjoyed her waffles, bacon and hashbrowns. Service was great.

Staff was friendly and efficient. We sat outside, which was nice in the morning. But the food was just okay. Nothing great and nothing terrible. Two of us ordered different omelets, 1 ordered pancakes, 1 ordered crepes. We wouldn't go back there again.

Great service and convenient location. I enjoyed one of the best turkey wraps I have ever had coupled with tasty fresh fruit. One family member had eggs benedict with avocado toast. This is one item the restaurant can improve on. The eggs were fine but not the avocado toast as it was rather very salty soggy avocado bread.

Was staying nearby on a business trip and looking for a good place for breakfast. The staff at our hotel recommended Samaria and it definitely did not disappoint. In fact it was so good we ate there every morning for four days straight. All the staff was lovely but Terry really was so warm and inviting. Everything is made fresh and the quality and portions are very consistent. The omelettes are definitely bigger than what I get in NY. You can tell a lot of pride goes into every dish. They have dishes with a French influence as well but I stuck to their omelettes and would take a wrap to go with their homemade potato chips for lunch. Home now and already missing their breakfast!

I ordered the Monte Cristo omelette and it was excellent. A large portion for a very fair price. The accompanying home fries had a great seasoning and were equally delicious. Plus the service was really quick.

Stopped in for a quick bite. Grabbed a pastry and coffee. The pastry was nothing special, not fresh. When advertising as a bakery I am expecting a selection of fresh baked goods. Unfortunately this place only had a couple croissants.

I went into the restaurant after searching for 15min for a parking spot. (Not their fault) I put my name in. Ask if I can provide a phone number since we were going to sit in the car. No. Ok. Not a problem. She says to just come back in 30min. We go back in 25min and I ask to confirm where on the list we are and she asks for my name again. She says she has a table of 2 and 4 infront of us. Perfectly fine. We stand outside and wait for our name to be called for another 15min. Nothing. I go in and she asks for my name for the third time. Apparently they called my name and no one came in. I was standing in front of the door when she called the table of 4 but walked over to my wife right after to stay out of the way of the door. I’m outside listening to her call other peoples names during these 15min. My assumption while waiting all this time is that there are large parties that made reservations. Nope. No offer to get us a table just a “Sorry, we called your name”. Idk if we were turned away for larger tables or something but there is no way I missed my name being called. Place can burn down for all I care.
