We went to Yummy House on my birthday with 9 family members. Our reserved table was ready, a round table with a Lazy Susan . We ordered family style and everything came out perfectly. We were impressed with the excellent service and the attentiveness of the staff. We brought a birthday cake and candles, which they brought out with paper plates and forks after dinner. We were pleased with food and service.

The menu selections are diverse to satisfy most tastes. We order the salt and pepper shrimp and Hong Kong Wonton Noodle Soup as our appetizers and two fried rice dishes (shrimp, chicken), roasted duck, beef chow fun, and scallops and broccoli. Everything was delicious and the service was good. Prices are moderate but the portions of each dish is large so sharing dishes are not uncommon.

Dora took excellent care of us! We were a party of 7, celebrating 3 birthdays. She was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Our only disappointment was the lack of duck on the menu. The lunch crowd ate it up! Husband and I shared the sweet and sour pork with shrimp fried rice. Our friends had the duck fried rice, Mongolian beef, Szechuan pork, and walnut shrimp. We ate until we were full! Most of us still had leftovers. We brought a birthday cake, which Dora refrigerated during dinner. After clearing the table, Dora brought it out, put a candle on top, and lit it! Our nephew brought it from Publix, which really makes the BEST cakes. Since we were a large group, a 20% gratuity was added to the bill. It was not enough for exceptional service, so we doubled the tip. Tonight’s meal was excellent, and Dora was fantastic.

I have been going here for five or six years to dine in. I have been getting takeout for the last couple years and food used to come in a Styrofoam container. The portions were very good and similar to the portions you get when you dine in. Recently they changed to small plastic containers and when I asked why smaller portions for the same price they said it was the same with a horrible attitude. Something has changed there and is not the same. Horrible experience the last two times won't be a third

My family and I love this place and have been dinning since it was The Yummy House located on Waters Avenue. I typically do not like writing reviews but at this particular moment, I am pretty upset. I ordered takeout because I wanted dim sum and also I believe in supporting local businesses, especially during this unfortunate time. I ordered the fried shrimp balls and they gave me fried sesame balls. Really it wasn't a big deal, I decided to call and let them know in advance it was the wrong order and I am on my way back to pick up the correct item. I drove all the way back, the service was so rude as if it was my fault the order was wrong. The tip of the iceberg was that they had the audacity to charge me $2.30 for the difference. I didn't make a big deal and I just paid for it, but my point is I drove all the way back with my gas to pick up the correct order that they messed up to charge the difference of $2.30!!! I understand times are tough but where is the hospitality to your loyal customers. I will not be dining in or ordering takeout at your restaurant anymore.

My coworkers and myself ordered lunch from the Yummy house on Hillsborough and not only was the service HORRIBLE but so was the food. I called the 1-855 number on the website and the lady was rude and hung up on me because I would not give her my credit card information for shipping to send out which she said was a Walmart gift card. I then contacted the restaurant and asked to speak with a manager in which I was told to call back the next day to speak with someone. This was $50 down the drain for horrible and undercooked food!!! I am disappointed and will not be eating here again after the service I received!! This place does not even deserve 1 star

This restaurant is a very nice Chinese restaurant, all clean lines and modern sensibilities. It's a great place for a group meal. We had the lunch specials, quite cheap and very tasty. They also offered dim sum ordering. You could specifically request a dim sum item from the menu--not as fun a having the carts coming through, but for a Monday lunch you can't complain!

We had 2 families from church went right after church at 11am, I liked peking Duck, dumplings and spicy chicken fried rice with wings. We ordered the spicy sauce and Buddha beer is always a hit. Nice friendly customer service and speed table service. The only thing there aren't too much dessert options I liked.

After trying many Chinese restaurants in Palm Harbor Tarpon Springs Holiday. None worth mentioning. We took the Trip Advisor based on reviews to drive out of our way to try this place. We arrived and it was very busy. The staff rushed but were courteous. We ordered several dishes. My wife had beef and broccoli in garlic oyster sauce. Which had no flavor to it. I had A beef dish in Sichuan sauce. I thought that was flavorful. Roast sliced pork in a honey sauce which had no flavor. Then a first for me No Rice served with the dishes. So if you want rice it costs you extra. So I tried the Pork fried rice. It appears nobody in this entire area knows how to make fried rice. No taste and the color looks more like yellow rice? Spend over $40 and you have to buy rice! Driving 30 miles for this I don’t think so. So I will try another off the Advisor list.

Incredibly RUDE, chef has changed too so the food is bland and tasteless. I could make much better at home. Even dim sum was poor. The Cantonese speaking man was sooo so rude, arguing with me when I asked him to put all my dim sum orders into a bigger box for ease of carrying in cooler. I know he speaks Cantonese because I do too. The other ladies who work there are not as rude, but never friendly, even before the pandemic. I will never visit this location again. The Sarasota one never disappointed me so I will drive out of my way there if I want to visit any Yummy house.

Got takeout during Covid-19, dining room was closed to patrons. Drove 1hr each way to get our takeout and it was ok, just not the same as when you can eat in, see everyone, watch for the dim sum cart! Sadly, my braised eggplant w/onion was only a partially full container...I think they ran out of eggplant? charged me full price. Fried food doesn't travel that well, there were some spills w/how they packaged. bbq pork buns were great.

This place just keeps getting better. I made a reservation for 12:30 on a Sunday and the place was packed and lots of people were waiting but they seated us immediately. Very handicapped accessible and friendly for my rollator. The dim sum was varied and all dishes were New York Chinatown quality.

We had a party of 12 and tip was included of $37 and we never got any service at all and we had to wait 1 hr for a ticket. Never fill up your water not even once after we asked 3 times. Don’t ever go here if you have a family because they don’t give a F about you because their tips it’s included. Mentioned it to the owner and they didn’t do anything about it.

We decided we would have one restaurant meal on my recent trip to Tampa, and this was where we chose. The food was first rate, service excellent, price reasonable, pretty good Covid precautions, so I just couldn't ask them to be responsible for Florida's lax mask culture. We had a seafood/tofu hotpot, braised Eggplant and chicken lo mein. Yum, my only complaint is that they were out of Tsingtao beer....

This place had some bomb dim sum and Chinese food. My cousins and I went on a random weekday and this place was packed. The shumai, rice crepe, hargow, shrimp dumplings, sweet buns, and other traditional dim sum dishes were on point. I would avoid the Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings. The inside of the XLB's didnt have a lot of meat or soup. Prices are fair and service was really quick. The location itself is very clean and you can order traditional dishes during lunch time as well. Noise level is low and they have seating for large parties. I see why they are voted one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area.
