We were there on a February Thursday at noon time. Weather outside was gorgeous. My sister had their special, Hot Dog with pulled pork and fries. I had their Korean Philly Cheesesteak sandwich which was simply outstanding! Bill before tip $32.

I had the daily smoke special- brisket, beans, cornbread and coleslaw. The coleslaw was very small- about one tablespoon. Brisket had zero flavor, the bbq sauce didn’t even add any flavor. Beans were ok and the cornbread was tasty. Not really worth the cost for...the meal.More

The food was just OK, nothing special. Seating was in a very loud mall area, or outside. The parking lot was convenient, but there is a charge.

Overpriced. Got the hamburger and it really tasted like a frozen hamburger patty. They overcharge by putting mayo on it and calling it aioli. Fried were bland even though they looked like they were covered in seasoning. Cornbread had no flavor at all. It also...took forever for the food to be ready and it wasn't even a busy day there.More

Okay so i had never been here and ordered the brisket nachos. I requested the items i wanted on them clearly and let them know what i wanted excluded which was the pico, white bbq sauce, and sour cream. So i told them all i...wanted was the brisket, chips, queso, and shredded cheese on the nachos. Now to start, the employees were all playing around talking and ignoring the customers in line. I finally got to order and told them what i wanted. About ten minutes later i return and the food was ready waiting to pick up so i stood there waiting for the girl who was organizing bbq sauce right at the counter to give me my food. Waited a few good minutes while she ignored the 3 customers waiting to pick up their food. Finally i asked if i could pick up my food. They handed me a basket of chips with unmelted shredded cheddar on top so i asked them what gives these are supposed to be brisket nachos. I told the manager then what i wanted and she said she was confused by the order so i know at some point it had come to her attention, perhaps even she made the “nachos”. She was still confused and asked how i wanted them made. I told her like nachos are with all the ingredients on top of the chips because their correction was to hand me a tray with all the ingredients on the side and just a plate of chips again. Finally they got it right…and i was not overly impressed by the food even. Its not that the staff were rude but they were clearly inattentive and i dont even know what this restaurant was thinking sending out a plate of some dusty chips with cold shredded cheddar on top. Smh…More

My daughter and I went to the Heights Public Market on a Friday night. The market was packed and we were starving. We chose this restaurant because it had the shortest line…. hint hint!! I had the hamburger, over cooked and dry. It came with...fries, which were cold. My daughter had the Mac n cheese bowl with chicken. This was also cold and almost inedible. The chicken looked like dog food and barely any cheese sauce. We will not be going back nor recommending this one place.More

This review is only for the CORNBREAD. It was pretty good. The cornbread came out warm. It had a lovely crust on the outside and was soft from inside. The honey butter it came with was delicious. Can't say about other items on the menu...but the cornbread is a must order!More

Went there with my wife. She had the honey hot chicken sandwich and a side of onion rings. The onion rings were greasy and cold and while specific as to why did not like it. I had the Korean cheesesteak and corn hush puppies. The...cheese steak was okay but drenched in a cheese sauce. I did not like the corn hush puppies and found them to greasy and dry. I would not recommend this food stallMore

Ordered the pulled pork and brisket combo for $10. Came w/tiny serving of average slaw & a small hunk of corn bread with corn kernals. Ordeted the $5 side of corn fritters which in the Midwest come with corn kernals & a dusting of powdered...sugar. These came swimming in a pool of honey - they were tasty - but more like a hushpuppy than a fritter. $22 with an unsweet tea, tax and 15% tip. You order, pay and must include a tip as others have said, find a table and wait to be texted when your order was up. Had just sat down w/food at a table in courtyard and were told must leave in 15 minutes for a private function. Were lured in by smell of great BBQ. Would likely return - but will try other Armature Works spots first.More

Went to Rooftop Cinema drive in next door to Armature works on a Friday night, used the six dots app to order takeout for the drive in. Ordered the nachos..all out. Ordered the fried pot's w pulled pork, cheese, crema, jalapenos...was ok! Corn fritters were...sweet and good, hot chicken sandwich was just ok. Packaging was good. Nothing wow and was a bit pricey. Busy place!More

We discovered this little takeout where people kept walking past me with a side of french fries that looked delicious. I asked someone where they got them & found this place. We ordered the burger with the side of fries & everything was very good....The fries tasted like homemade & the burger was excellent. Since they are takeout you have to find a table, like a food court, but since it was pouring down rain everyone from the outside tables came inside. We found a little nook by the door to N. Ola where we had to stand but there was a counter & no one else was there.More

The brisket at Butcher & BBQ is less than stellar. When one thinks of brisket it's meaty, smoky, and has that nice bark around the edges from being in the smoker. This brisket has none of that and almost tasted like it had just been...boiled in a pot of water. The pulled pork was decent and the portion you get is pretty generous but it wasn't something that was so good I'd have to go back for it. Their Mac and cheese was the best thing I had on the plate. I'm not sure if they make it from scratch it not but it was good and had a nice thick cheese sauce.More
