I actually ordered through Uber eats. I ordered the Donner kebab which I have a lot in England. The meat was dry and not even sure what kind of meat. I eat gyros here and it didn’t taste like that and it wasn’t quite beef....I can only explain it as “old” food. The spinach pie was also old and I threw away uneaten. It was bad enough to be one and done never to eat there again.More

Although my lunchtime request was only at the salad-level, still, the overall experience was well received. To begin with, the service -and my particular server, Rinia- was OUTSTANDING; quick, responsive, menu-knowledgeable, and more than willing to always recommend appropriate choices. To top it off her...smile was quite genuine. Ordered was the “Fattoush Salad;” made up of “a rich combination of Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, red and green peppers, fresh mint, and seasoned pita chips tossed with Turkish butter.” Add to that a protein of seasoned/grilled chicken, and you have a filling, flavorful lunchtime meal! Although the chicken was a bit dry -as breasts ofttimes are- still, it was worth the expense. And, with so rich and diverse a menu, it was hard not to keep sampling; which I did with the four pieces of Baklava… a sweet pastry made layers of filo filled with chopped nuts, sweetened, and held together with syrup. And, although I only consumed one, three of them found their way home! To top this off, I was offered some Turkish Tea, which was the perfect match for the Baklava, and end to this meal. We had the Bayshore Mixed Grill, Lavas Bread and a side of white rice. My wife and I shared the entree and the bread, and it was definitely sufficient for two. This was our favorite meal this trip. We were able to eat outside on the patio which was so pleasant. We really enjoyed the hummus and shrimp dish. Very much recommend!
This evening, after a recommendation from a good friend, my wiife and I decided to travel here from Bradenton to try the food. I’m not even done with my meal yet and I rushed here to google to add another five star review to their...incredible five star review total. I’m in an Egyptian and I appreciate good Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food. Living here in Florida, it’s so hard to find. Wish I had discovered this place sooner. The service here, so far, is fantastic. The waitress, Abir, was friendly and helpful. She made great recommendations. For appetizers, my wife and I have the homeless in the falafel, and we were absolutely positively not disappointed. We both ordered kebabs for our entrées. She got the lamb and I got the chicken and they were spiced, grilled to perfection. This is our first time here and will definitely not be the last. This place definitely lives up to its five star reputation on Google.More
Very good food, great portion sizes, their bread and amazing red dipping oil is so, so good. Everything we have had here was excellent. Recommendation for the restaurant, the parking lot is very dark at night, most of the lights are burnt out so perhaps...fixing and adding parking lot lights would be something to look into! All in all, highly recommend this restaurant.More
Last night my friend and I dined at this wonderful restaurant off the beaten path area. The dishes I recommend are those that we ate. Gracious hospitality. Amazing cuisine. Orders served with detailed preparation without a long wait. We can’t wait to go back!
What a delightful surprise! Excellent Turkish dishes, delicious starters, tasty kebabs and a nice atmosphere. A must if you like Turkish/middle eastern cuisine.
Adana kebab was pefect. Dolmus was too. Friendly wait staff. Baklava and chai could not have been better.
We had lunch on Christmas day and it was fabulous. The most authentic homemade Turkish food. Service is outstanding. Nothing but compliments for this place.
This is nothing fancy as far as restaurants go, but the food is delicious and fresh made. Our server was helpful and very knowledgeable as well.
This is the best Turkish Cousine in Tampa. Food is delicious, even the bread with tomato and olive oil sauce is amazingly tasty. For starters we ordered mixed cold appetizer combo with Turkish Lavas bread. For dinner we had Chef’s special that has chicken, lamb...and beaf kebabs on top of rice, lentil and vegetable sealed with oven backed bread and chef himself comes and cuts the bread to open the inside delicacies, chicken Adana kebab. This was so delicious we are planning to go every there every weekend. For dessert I will recommend Kunefe. A must go restaurant for every one in Tampa.More
We ate here again last night and it reminded me I wanted to write a review. This is my favorite restaurant in all of South Tampa, and definitely the best in the area for Turkish food. We always get the grill platter that has kofte,...lamb, chicken and more. it's big enough to share. The flavors are so authentic, the meat has a perfectly grilled taste. The salads are divine, too, so fresh and full of flavor. The severs, many from Turkey, are very warm and nice to our kids, always appreciated, especially since it truly seems genuine. If the weather is nice, we like to sit on the patio out front. It fronts a parking lot but they're decorated it with beautiful greenery and it's very pleasant. My husband loved the music, too, Charles Aznavour. Tampa needs many more places like this one!More
