Soooo many fines and warnings issued by the state! What do you expect from a restaurant in a dirty gas station eat at your own risk

located inside a gas station, poor sanitation, owner is rude and arrogant. Save your time and money, absolutely not worth it.

Absolutely the best Indian food in the Tampa area. Run don't walk to get here! The entrance to Saffron Indian Cuisine might be a surprise, but don't let that slow you down. The food smelled great as we entered. We decided to have our favorites...for our first dining experience here. We absolutely loved our vegetable samosas, chicken biryani, and chicken tikka masala! You can control the "heat" by selecting mild, medium or hot! We thought we start with medium and that was perfect - it gives you the right amount of heat but all the flavor still comes through on every dish! For something different in naan, we tried the chile naan. Loved it as well. The servings are extremely generous - as a result we had food we were able to take home so we can continue to enjoy the experience.  The owners make you feel as if you have always been friends, they're happy to see you, anxious to share information, and they are delighted to serve you. Just an absolute pleasure to share time with them.  More

Excellent food, mouth watering authentic flavors. The lamb madras is to die for. Impeccable service from a family run business. The only downside for me personally is the restaurant is run out of a convenience store by a Mobil gas station. Hopefully this is a...temporary situation as I’d love to and probably will anyway take out of town guests there.More

We had a family dinner at Saffron Palace. The owner was friendly, helpful and polite. She suggested their fruit juice infused with basil seeds. We ordered guava , lychee and a mango juice. It was out of this world! The food was delicious. We had...curried lamb and 2 vegetarian dishes as well the fresh Naan breads. We had a wonderful evening at Saffron Palace. We will definitely return.More

Saffron is the best Indian Cuisine I’ve had in the USA. Unfortunately, I live over an hour from Saffron’s. So I always call before I go to make sure they will be open. On this particular occasion I called and someone said “Hello” versus introducing...the business name so I asked if I had reached Saffron’s restaurant and the person introduced himself as “Nimeah,“ and he proceeded to tell me that the restaurant was temporarily closed as they were on the hunt for a new location but they were taking care of their customers at a friends restaurant and would be happy to serve us there. All I had to do was let him know when and how many people. So I made arrangements for 10 persons. We arrived 15min before our scheduled time to an empty closed restaurant. I was worried plans had failed, but five minutes later Nimeah shows up with a team of people to include the fabulous cook, his wife. They opened up the doors of the restaurant only for US, Sat us down and we were treated like Indian Royalty!! Delicious, fresh, made to order appetizers soon filled the table. Followed by Naan, and butter and Tandoori chicken, Goat, curry Lamb, and made to order vegan cuisine for my mother. Nimeah shared with us Indian Culture that evening via history, food and dessert, and it was one of the best dining experiences of my life. Some of my family had never been to Saffron’s. I got calls for over a week regarding our meal and I can’t wait to return. Thank You Nimeah and Family for the experience.More

Went there for the lunch buffet. Excellent dishes, everything was fresh, flavorful and seasoned perfectly! Best Indian food I've had in a year! Reasonable prices. A must try!

The food is exceptional and the owner is a perfect gentleman. The buffet is plentiful with many chooses and even if there isn't a buffet ordering off the menu will not be a disappointment.

So I had the buffet today. The food was excellent with a great flavor. It was brought out on a regular basis as something's buffets wait until the last few crap pieces of food are left or all gone. They even brought Naan to me...at my table when a fresh batch came out. Great service. Great food. I will be back when I'm in this area as much as I can.More

Everything I have tried here is awesome. The mango lassie is thick and tasty. The meat samosa is a wonderful mix of flavors...but only 2 per order. I have tried the lamb Madras and lamb vindaloo - both are excellent. There lamb rogan josh was...very good, but not as good. My girlfriend loves the cheese naan, but I'm a huge fan of their garlic naan. We might have to ask if they can make garlic cheese naan next time! I like spicy food, but medium is just fine for me here. I would be very cautious about trying their version of spicy. The only down side of this place is that it's in a run down strip mall. You could drive right by and never noticed it. Ok, the A/C is always running a little warm too, but dress comfortably and Google the address and you are in store for some amazing food!!More
