The steak was delicious and the service was excellent. I would recommend this place but bring a sweater. Their AC is COLD. It was a bit too cold.

We went for a late lunch on New Year's Eve, and I know you're thinking, "Oh well, it was a holiday, and it was busy." It wasn't though. We sat in a booth on the bar side. There were about eight people sitting at the...bar and one other party sitting in a booth when we arrived. The bartender came over a few minutes after our arrival and asked for our drink order. It took him almost 10 minutes to bring us our drinks. I'd ordered the Merlot wine. It was bitter and bad. I told him, and he told me that he'd just opened the bottle. He insisted that I just didn't like it and asked me if I wanted something else. I asked for a glass of Cabernet, but he said that he was out. I then asked him to add some ginger ale to the wine to see if it took the bitterness away. It didn't and the ginger ale was flat. He then took our orders. We each got a bowl of onion soup and ordered one order of cheesy shrimp for appetizers. We also each ordered the porterhouse steaks. (We wanted to bring food home for later in the evening.) The waiter/bartender then brought our salad over, which is supposed to be bottomless. He brought the salad bowl over and gave us each a plate and one roll each. He left the bowl on the table, which contained only about half a plate more. Now, more people are sitting at the bar, and the server never returned to us. All of a sudden, the manager showed up with our entrees. I told him that we hadn't received our soups or appetizer. He said that our steaks had been sitting in the window and asked if we either wanted the soup and appetizer to go or if we'd like to cancel them. As he was asking, a busboy showed up with the rest of our order. We said that we'd keep them, but I told him that the wine was bad. He took it away and took it off of the bill. We never saw the server again until he delivered our check. No one ever came over to check on us or ask if we needed anything else. We ate our soups and took the rest home. We spent $100 for horrible service, bad wine and so-so food that wasn't even delivered in the correct order. The steaks arrived cold. Luckily, we took them home so we could re-heat them. They had no char broiled flavor. This place used to be good, but we were very disappointed this time. I might give it one more shot, but I doubt it.More

I had the prime rib and it was tender and cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was delightful. Loved the music and the peanuts to munch on while you wait for your delicious meal to arrive.

Cody's has a great variety of delicious items. I particularly enjoyed the onion ring and chicken wing appetizers. The steak burgers are tasty, ribs and haddock were also great. Their salad and rolls were very good as well. Happy hour and early bird specials are...a great deal.More

I usually love Cody's but this location had hostesses that did not know what they were doing. The waitress was extremely slow. The steak was not cooked properly sent it back, came back not cooked medium, still raw so waitress took it away. We asked...for bill and were charged for the steak that not one piece was eaten. Called Manager next day and said would give full refund to my friend, just needed his credit card. He called and she had a different story and said come back in for another try.More

Stopped by on Friday night & called ahead! Definitely a must if eating on Friday or Saturday night. Enjoyed delicious prime rib & love that ranch dressing on the salad! I got a piece of carrot cake to go & it was Fantastic. Enough for...3 people. Always a great experience at Cody's 😋More

We always enjoy Codys when we travel to Florida, but this one was disappointing. The rolls (usually yummy) were stale and the cinnamon butter was crumbly and un-spreadable. Chicken on fajitas was dry, steak fajitas was ok.

First one of our sons has a peanut allergy so we can't go back for that reason, luckily my wife and I were alone...yes there are peanut shells all over everything. The place was dirty as well. Prime rib was fine but my wife's medium...filet was well done. Not that good.More

Our first stop at a Codys was less than great. After waiting 20min to have our drink order taken things got rolling. Placed our order- thats when it went down hill. Manager came back and said 1/2 chicken was gone. My partner ordered another meal....When our dinners came hers had no gravy on the chick fried chicken or mashed potatoes, which were cold. They were out of gravy. My dinner which was suppose to be prime rib was another cut of meat- turned out to be rib eye. Prime was also out but they deciced to send that out to me without asking if it would be ok. The rib eye was tasty, could have been warmer. The end verdict: We hit them at 830 on a Saturday and they were slammed. I do compliment both our server and Manager for making things right. I would like to go another time and see how things go. If its not super busy I think a really good meal can be had. The atmosphere is fun and employees work hard to please. Take a chance and go for it.More

we normally go once a week, and we are there just before 6 PM so we can eat from the Early Bird Menu. I always enjoy the Salmon with all the trimmings or the half chicken, sometimes even the Quesadillas. It's a fun place as...well with their unusual decorations. The Steak Special is always another good option.More
