Our story is simple. After living in the city for over 22 years collectively, we noticed a major void in Tallahassee’s dining industry and knew it needed to be filled. Our beautifully restored building at the heart of our State Capital is a representation of our love of Florida and Tallahassee. On the menu you will find local, fresh from Florida products and classic items with preparations from all parts of our great state that offer something that Tallahassee has never experienced before. Paired with the picturesque backdrop of Cascades Park, there is no restaurant in town that offers a unique dining experience. The atmosphere is fun and beautiful. We were here on graduation weekend, so the menu was limited. Service was great, food and drinks were delicious!! We will be back when we are in town again.

We attended a wedding rehearsal dinner at The Edison. We cannot speak to the regular menu, but the staff, food and facility were excellent, perfect for our occasion. They took care of our entire group of nearly 50. We were outside and there was plenty...of room for the kids to run and play - and a ping pong table. It looks like a great restaurant generally.More

Had been planning to try this restaurant for a while; was finally able to do so; decided that it would be great to eat in an outdoor setting, specifically since it is such a beautiful day; sadly, it was a bit chillier than I anticipated,...so we ended up eating inside, not as socially distanced as I would like, but felt that we were ok. The servers had on masks the entire time; however, I am still not totally comfortable dining in at restaurants while this country is still dealing with COVID-19. In any case, I ordered the flapjacks with fried chicken and sweet potato fries; my sister had the southern breakfast (fried chicken, eggs, and sausage gravy over a biscuit), with bacon and home fries on the side; my daughter had the chicken caesar wrap with sweet potato fries. My daughter and sister also had mimosas, which they said were ok. Though my flapjacks (pancakes) were good, I expected them to be a bit more fluffy/thick; the thinness of the flapjacks reminded me of crepes a bit. The only tiny complaint I had was that my sweet potato fries weren't brought out with the rest of my meal; however, the server apologized for this and made it right. The fried chicken was delicious - not greasy, seasoned just right, and very crispy. All in all, we enjoyed our meals. We had a nice time; loved the ambiance. Will plan to visit again and definitely get outdoor seating; seems to be a nice view from the patio.More

The food is great if you're just ordering ketchup. Make a picnic and enjoy the awesome park. I went to the bathroom and the toilets had visible black under the rim and my shoes stuck to the floor. I communicated this all to the manager...and she did nothing to make it right. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but it's just not worth it...More

This was our first visit to this restaurant. I love the decor. We went, for lunch, and sat at the bar while we waited. The drinks were served right away. They have outside seating as well facing the water, but it was too hot to...sit outside. After being seated, we ordered Daytona Dip, Biscuits with Gravy, Edison Burger, and Breakfast Tacos. All the food was fresh, tasty, and delivered within decent timings. Our Server and the Hostess were extremely pleasant and professional. No names were provided. We were celebrating two birthdays and we were given a complimentary dessert each. The drink prices range between $7 and $9.50. I recommend this establishment and will return.More

Great Birthday Dinner. We celebrated our son’s 20th birthday at the Edison. Food was very good. Service could’ve been better as our server forgot to order our appetizer. Wish the menu had more to offer especially for vegetarian. Peach sangria was amazing.

We went to The Edison for lunch on Memorial Day. In the past, their food and service were pricey, but worth it. However, on this day they fell far short of the mark. We ordered a an of beer, a glass of sangria and two...shrimp po'boys (for $16.00 each) from their take-out window. For a side, they came with a "1oz bag" of chips. Now, I get that these are trying times for us all, but after finishing the chips and having to ask for our sandwiches we got a rude shock. The shrimp po'boys were so small. There were six shrimp in the entire sandwich! We paid $50.00 for lunch including tip and left hungry and feeling ripped off. At this point I don't care if they stay in business or not. There are plenty of other restaurants that can give you a better value for your hard earned dollar.More

Big disappointment. The restaurant offers a great ambience, being able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather, view and atmosphere. The restaurant was pet friendly which was a big plus and reason we chose this establishment to eat! There were four of us, we...ordered three burgers and one bean burger. The burgers were ordered medium rare but came out very well done. Only one of us asked for the burger to be re-done as medium-rare but it served again well done. The bean burger was dry and un-edible so we returned it and did not ask for another. All of us ordered shoe-string fries which were just plain fries…not shoe-string per any definition of the description. They were also cold. The food took over an hour to be served…which is a long time for burgers. The server only visited once and the manager came out when we sent back the bean burger, but she was of no value added. Great potential but crap service and worse food. I would not give it another try.More

Enjoyed this place and the food was excellent. It’s kind of a pseudo sports bar and a very active place. They offer a room upstairs for private events. The service was excellent as well and server very knowledgeable. The lighting could be toned down a...bit at the booth locations as the bulbs gave off heat and glare. The noise level is a bit high, bit one can still carry on a conversation and be heard. Will definitely go back on my next visit to Tallahassee.More

You would have to contact the restaurant directly to answer that question correctly. I was not looking for that type of food. Sorry I could not be of more help.
