I’m pretty sure I ate dog because the chicken I ate was so gross it tasted like mystery meat, if you want a pita go to pitaria on apalachee parkway

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday - great variety and selection of vegetables and fillings for pitas. The building itself is a bit shabby and could use a thorough cleaning. The portions here are huge and the combos are a good value.

Love going back for the great Greek food (forgive the spelling) moussaka, gyros, spinakopeta, tiropeta and Greek salad. Service not that great.

I have eaten Pita Pit in New Orleans and was looking for something Mediterranean when I came across this place in Tallahassee. I ordered the Super Greek Pita which had both lamb and beef gyro meat and chicken souvlaki. Pita Pit is similar to Subway...in that you choose which veggies to include. I had red peppers, cukes, carrots, red onion, spinach, lettuce and feta and topped with Tatziki. It was delicious!. The sweet tea was also good. It can be hard sometimes to find a good healthy meal that tastes good without tasting too healthy. Pita Pit does it well. They stay open late and have some weekend specials. There are tables to sit down but service is from the counter like Subway.More
