Our last day of vacation and we had to visit one more time. We visit the area every Thanksgiving and Feb and have at least two meals each visit. Food just isnt very good. Average at best. Flank steak was tough, chicken was unseasoned . Pork belly was below average. Salmon was fresh but covered in lemon

See,ms they were closed the day we wanted to go to lunch, Website said they were open. Telephone answering system said the message center was full. Got in car, drove there…..nada. Would be nice if they had changed their website info to reflect their closing,...and updated their phone with message of the same. Disappointed for sure.More

Just arrive in Tallahessee! And have this wonderfull dinnner! The food surpasse my expectativas! So happy to visit Kool Beanz Cafe. Kool red Wine selection is different.. love it!

This place offers a daily menu. It can be a bit of hit or miss, but usually real good. Get the Mahi if they have it, Prices are reasonable and service is friendly.

My husband and I arrived around 6:30 on a Thursday and were immediately seated even though the parking lot was full. We had the fried calamari as a starter and the shrimp linguini as a main course. Both were very good, but the star of...the evening was the dessert! We had a cream brûlée and a panna cotta. They were excellent! The service was a little slow between courses, but I’m sure that’s due to how busy they were. This is one of our favorite restaurants, and even though it is an hour drive for us, we will continue to go every chance we get.More

Very kind server with a great deal of southern hospitality. Food was good, appetizer was ok, and desert was great. Little pricier than I hoped. Will visit again during my next time in Tallahassee. Definitely recommend.

Great place for dinner off campus. Crispy cauliflower was good as was the salmon. Nice wine selection and wait staff. Will definitely return!

Visited this restaurant last night for the first time in years. The two star review has nothing to do with service, staffing shortages or the like. Simply put, the two stars are for the underwhelming food served. We ordered the calamari appetizer. It was so...salty we ate a few pieces and left the rest for the trash (yes, I know, seafood can be salty, but this was inedible). Then on to the main courses. My friend explicitly ordered salmon rare and it was served nearly well done. The other two entries were acceptable but I ordered the flank steak. It was so salty I could barely finish it. What's with the heavy-handed salt? Sorry, KDC, you have some serious issues to address before anyone in my party last night would think of returning.More
