Calzone was filled with pepperoni so with regard to previous comments regarding price I certainly felt as though I got my money's worth. Under $10 for a 10" pep calzone that could easily feed two sounds right to me. A little disappointed that the companion bar Warhorse doesn't stock any coconut flavored rum (no Malibu - blasphemy!) but I made... More

We had lunch at Gaines Street Pies while visiting the FSU campus. The place is casual and fun, with bold comic book-style graphics on the wall, a bar and an adjacent seating area. The menu had many familiar pizza shop favorites, but there were also several unusual specialty pies that sounded really good. We have a vegan in our family,... More

The service was very slow, but the pizza was good. They have a game system set up at the bar and you can play retro video games (Original NES & SNES). A unique little pizza place with a brick oven. Draft beer available.

Awesome pizza place. Great location and plenty of parking. They have some very original pie choices and also a full bar.

I don't mean to dog on this place too much, but I have always been cognizant of food cost. And a pizza is pretty darn cheap to make. I gave this place a shot becuase it boasted some creative pies, and seemed to have good ingredients. But it just didn't seem to come through into the finished pizza. It tasted... More

Gaines Street is one of the only places in Tally that you can get a reliably good slice of pizza at. Plus their garlic knots are worth ordering on their own entirely.

Fantastic pizza. Got the Mo-Rockin pie. Delicious. Great tasting and crust was thin and flavorful. Friendly service and atmosphere

Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday, small crowd.. but my order for two baked wraps seemed to take a very long time to prepare. Wraps come with a choice of a side, the potato salad was small (two bites) and not very flavorful. The bag of chips was.. a bag of chips. I got the Bowsers Bluff wrap.. which... More

My two coworkers and I work downtown and can count on Gaines Street Pies to satisfy our different tastes and dietary restrictions. We all like different things on our pizza slices. One coworker cannot eat anything spicy. She usually gets garlic rolls - which are very good - or a slice with veggies. My other coworker always gets pepperoni. I... More

Just visited for lunch. I had heard about this place, so decided to try it while I was in the area. Garlic knots were really good. Tomato sauce for dining seemed homemade... tons of flavor. Good pizza too.
