We stopped here for lunch while traveling to St. Augustine,FL. While it is set back off the road and a tad bit difficult to find,it was well worth the drive from the interstate across town. I had the chili dog with Mac n cheese, hubby had...the Golden boy burger (a burger with Mac n cheese on it). Both were very tasty. The atmosphere is very cool, with lots of 80’s and 90’s movie and music memorabilia.More

Amazing burger, soft bun tastes like homemade! Chili dog was delicious, the bun was so soft and I could hold it with both hands and the fries were warm the entire time! I haven’t had a chili dog this good in years! My advice would...be to order 2 because once you eat one you’ll want another!More

My husband loves hot dogs, so when I heard the name of this place I knew we had to stop through. We had our dogs in tow and planned to order to-go, but when we pulled in discovered there were a few covered tables outdoors...so we pulled up a seat. Service was great and we enjoyed our hot dogs and cheesy fries. Voodoo Dog turned out to be a nice surprise.More

What a crazy unique place just off the beaten path(kinda) It’s small rustic exterior couldn’t be more tricky to our senses of “possible amazing fare” After a long day FSU football fun and strolling the area... we decided to find some comfort food for take...out...(that’s always a challenge) ...a great burger and fries was our choice and we decided to stroll 1/2 block from Hampton inn , grab food, return and relax. Let me start with the 80s ambiance...kicks ass!!! Loved it... album covers decorated the wall and in the corner was a old school pac man and Galaga machine... TIME WARP!!! We ordered the cheeseburgers with frieds and sides of baked beans and cole slaw... decided to take a chance on the chocolate dipped cheesecake. I’m so satisfied right now..I will let the photos speak for themselves... might be the best burger of all time... the ambiance made 2 tired parents enjoy a 30 minute throw back date night..and the food was delicious ! I’d love to go here again if back in the area. PS...love the art work throughout!More

We found Voodoo Dog on trip advisor, so we decided to try it out. Staff was super friendly! Food is cooked to order, so it took about 20 minutes to get our food. But the food was excellent! The atmosphere was awesome! Old movie posters...and memorabilia. Would definitely recommend voodoo dogs! Great burgers and dogs.More

Hot dogs in a variety of curious ways. I've had the veggie dogs a few ways and they all are very tasty and fun. Good for quick lunch and back to work.

I went in here to have a hamburger and french fries. Keep in mind that I had not been in here since they changed owners. The food was much better when Russell owned it. My hamburger was cooked to death and the portion of fries...was very small. This and a drink was $12.00. I think that is a little high for mediocre food. I could have gotten a better meal at half the price at BURGER KING.More

Great lunch spot for the office, quick service, dogs are a little on the pricy side but good. No 2 for $1 hotdogs here, go to 7/11 if you want that, come here if you want quality.

My husband and I were in St Augustine for Thanksgiving and did an overnight in Tallahassee. I found this place on TripAdvisor, since my husband is a big fan of hot dogs, we had to try VooDoo Hot Dogs. I got the chili dog with...potato chips and my husband got Chicago style hot dogs (Abe Frohman). The food was great. I ended up with a second chili dog it was sooo good. The rolls were large and fresh. My husband also enjoy his dogs immensely. The decor is fun too. Decked out in Star Wars, Pac Man and old Ms Pac Man arcade, 80's album covers from heavy metal bands and dancing skeletons, so much to look at while waiting for your food. Check out delivery. At least three people came in from a food delivery service to pick up food. Wonderful place. Enjoy it immensely!!More

We enjoy the food here. According to my friends and husband, they have good hotdogs. I like eating there because I can actually get a vegetarian (I think Morningstar) hot dog with lots of toppings. The cheese fries are great. They have cheap canned beer....The atmosphere is...interesting. Some of the décor is a bit scary for little kids. It can be crowded and a little difficult to find parking at peak times (they don't really have a parking lot, so you have to park on the street). It's a free-standing, hole-in-the-wall kind of place. I love that it's a locally-owned, small business.More

Every time we come to Tallahassee we have to go to Voodoo Dog. It has ruined me for having hot dogs anywhere else. Last time I had the bacon wrapped with cheddar and a fried egg. Wish we had one where we live!

So it really is a hot dog place. Think of all the things you can top a hot dog with- it's here. I don't recommend the macaroni and cheese hot dog as it seems unnatural. The dog and its own element should be the reason...for this restaurant's existence, but it's more complex than the mighty dog.. it's about the atmosphere... Year round Halloween decorations seem to be just what anyone would look for in a serious establishment. This place has a hot dogs.. Not a big hot dog, not a small hot dog. Just an average hot dog, but they do offer fountain drinks and really good fries. The hot dogs are so so. In my opinion, this restaurant should be called voodoo fries. Keep on keeping on Voodoo Dog!More
