I love good dim sum. I lived in San Francisco for half my life and I have been searching for good Chinese restaurants locally, especially for dim sum. Toa Toa is authentic and good. Also, I always crave congee when I'm not feeling well and theirs really fits the bill. I have enjoyed ordering for delivery while I've been isolating.

Toa Toa has been around for ever. It has never failed me still to this day.
They have an amazing Chinese menu but their Dim Sum menu is the real deal.
From the fon for to the bbq baked pork buns to the silver noodles, nothing is bad on this menu.
If you are looking for the best Dim Sum look no further.

Good dim sum options to whet your cravings of traditional Cantonese weekend Brunch faire.
Many of their dim sum dishes are standard and the flavors are on par.
My first visit- every dish was stellar. Hot steamed dumplings coming out of the kitchen, steaming hot stronger tea for those that love black tea. Myself, I prefer less strong black tea.
My second visit, a bit of a hit and miss. Tea was consistently too strong. The taro fried dumplings were greasy and not crispy or hot. The shrimp dumplings were a tad salty, and the soup dumplings mildly tasty.
My conclusion is the ‘hits and misses’ would welcome another visit if I’m in the area.
4 stars for my first visit as it was rock solid.

I really wanted to try again som Dim Sum, so there I went on a Saturday night to fulfill my wish, also wanting to find a new spot to eat regularly since I eat out all the time.
I arrived it's in the back of a plaza the place it's what you can expect of a tradicional Chinese restaurant, horrible Decor, if we can call it that, and some musky odor coming from the carpet or seats who knows, but I guess that comes with the territory.
Honestly I really didn't care about all that if the food was good.
I asked the waiter to introduce me to the world of Dim Sum, he did a bad job, but nothing remarkable, finally I made my decision and I asked if we can bring me one dish at a time and he not rudely but very short, explain to me it was not an Italian restaurant, evidently he thinks only Italian restaurants con fire a particular dish at a particular time. I know I'm dealing with a different culture so, still was kind of ok.
The Food came and it was ok, some better than other and finally I wanted to order my last dish, I call the waiter, and asked for the last one and he said, "We are close" and I though I read it closed at 10 and now it's 8:58 can it be close?
I thought that after himself checkin on a clock he order de food, but then another woman came and ask if I wanted something else since it was the last call.
I mentioned that I ordered the dish to the other gentleman but there was no order so she put the order for me again.
I explained to her again that it was my understanding for all the signs online that they were closing at 10.
Few minutes passed and another guy working there come to say to me no idea what and grab a paper from the door that had the times etc and put it on my face. Honestly I had no idea what was going on, I just mentioned that online it showed another time, that was it, and evidently it was a whole commotion about the closing time.
The actions of this guy where so incredibly rude I call for the check and tried to explained what happened to the other people there but it was like I was invisible.
Never in my life I experienced treatment like that in a restaurant.
Simply Amazing if you like this kind of treatment this is the restaurant for you.
Of course, I'll have to keep on looking for a better Dim Sum restaurant around my place.
Please be aware of this, and don't be surprised if something similar happened to you.

Toa Toa has been my Favorite Dim sum location in Florida. We have been going since they originally opened probably twenty years. Imagine how excited I was to grab some take out Sunday evening to share with my family, until I arrived home and we began to eat. The food was horrible, gone was the love that went into the food, absent were the quality ingredients the previous owners and chef used in their cooking. The food had a horrible after taste and some of the dishes also had a musty or moldy odor. We will not be back- What a shame, but common when a restaurant changes ownership.

Ordered tonight online at 5:26pm. Online receipt said it would be ready at 6:10. The restaurant called me at 5:56 to tell me my order would be ready at 7:30. Yes. 7:30. Fine. Even called them back at 6:09 to confirm I heard them correctly. Hubs went to pick up the food at 7:30 and said there was a line of ppl (including Uber Eats) all waiting to pick up and some 30 tickets that hadn’t even made it back to the kitchen. Including ours. Not going to even attempt to dine in. Ever. With service like that, I would not recommend this place.

Stopped in after Sawgrass Mills because it was on the way home. Staff was very friendly and funny! Some dishes were good others not as much. Wonton soup was good. Not too salty and good noodles to throw in. Egg roll good. Duck sauce color seemed off. Shrimp steamed dumplings ok not great. Loved Singapore noodles. Asked for mild and came perfectly spiced. Large portion great for leftovers. Pork with mixed veggies wasn’t great. Good assortment of veggies but the pork was fatty. Almost every piece needs to be trimmed. Sauce tasty. Overall just ok but some good some average.

The restaurant followed very good Covid protocols. There was space between is and next occupied table. The service was very good. The menu had pictures, so we knew what we were ordering. The staff were very friendly and they kept the place very clean. It is not a fancy place, but we felt very comfortable and we look forward to returning soon.

This place is the best!!! My favorite dishes: short ribs and jellyfish.
I lived in Florida and only ordered delivery, and damn did they deliver.
I've moved to NYC, and I legit think about then weekly.
I have yet to find another place to make short ribs and jellyfish like them. It's just perfect and we'll always be my go to.
Can't wait to visit and actually eat at the restaurant.
Thank you for amazing taste bud memories!!!

Expensive, prices are not the same as the menu and the chef's specials only come with white rice. No fried rice, egg roll or soup. 1st time here and won't be coming back

Sadly disappointed - order wasn’t available for an hour and an half later that promised, one can deal with a busy kitchen.
With zero notice at any time multiple items at pick up “Weren’t available today”. Other items included in the multi-hundred dollar order were NOT included - surprise, surprise at arriving hone. And most disappointing, after all the “reviews”, what was provided is probable available in a tin at any asian grocery market. Perhaps you will have a better experience - don’t bet the farm on it.

I was wondering WHY my Young Chow Fried Rice was WHITE rice with super hard peas and carrots, but after reading other reviews..Im learning the old owner are no longer the owners. THAT SUCKS! These people were rude and gave me 14 dollars of WHITE rice instead of the Young Chow Fried Rice I thought I order. I hate wasting my hard earn money on something I didn't order!!!!!
BRING THE ORIGINAL OWNERS BACK ASAP!
They can keep my $14 dollars as a parting gift. I will NEVER go back here EVER again. DISAPPOINTED

So I have been going to this place for 30 years, It was the BEST Chinese restaurant and one of the very few that has dim sun menu. First the server was extremely aggressive when we asked about some of the dishes as my friend had never been there before. Then, she never came back to our table to see if we needed anything or brought desert that was included with my friends meal. Also not any fortune cookies either But the biggest upset was when we asked for a container for our leftovers and was told the soup could not be taken home. I preceded to ask the owner who never answered me and some young girl said she was the manager. She preceded to give me some kind of food handling reason about why you cannot take soup home. And then in the same breath said it was because the soup is complimentary again makes no sense. However our server said if we pay 75cents for a container then its ok. So the moral of the experience was about money. The worse part is when I explained the entire event which was more than about 75cents they did not care at all. She said not oh wow 30years of dinning and telling all my family and friends about it she looks at me and said I should know after 30years that the information about leftovers is on their menu. LOSING MANY CUSTOMER S OVER 75CENTS IS A JOKE,

My family and I were skeptical from the location and the exterior. Don’t let that fool you! They were busy when we walked in and had a wait out the door when we left. This is genuinely some of the best dim sum and dumplings we’ve had outside of New York’s China town or visiting China itself! Definitely would recommend!
